Help:The Game is slowing down

when i play the sims2 sometimes it will freeze for awhile or pause and keep going.It kinda just moves slow sometimes.Is it because have to much custom content.Is there stuff i can delete to make it go faster?

If the game freezes just before a Sim or pet appears on the lot then it probably means you don't have enough RAM on your machine. If you have lots of custom content then this should only slow down the initial loading of the game and when you go to change a Sims' appearance or buy new clothes.

Its mainly just while im playing.

Maybe try adding some more RAM to your machine then.
