That is fully automatic
comes with 900 rounds
and has two 40 and two 30 round clips/mags(I'm a new f** and don't know the difference ^_^)

I can get it for $300 from my moms boyfriends friend.

Should I do it?

It all depends:
What state do you live in?
Do you have enough money to pay the $200 tax stamp, if you are in a state that allows MGs?

Btw: All -semi- aks have an S and F feature.
Safety, and fire: NOT semi and full-automatic.

Okay all I know about the gun is what my moms boyfriend told me which I posted up top.

And it is in good condition from what he said.

I can afford the stamp and I dont even know if it legal to have them in my state sweatdrop

The short answer is yes. Buy it if it looks and shoots good.

The longer answer is be very careful.

There have been a lot of AK styled assault rifles built over the decades. I've shot a Chinese built Model 56 clone (with the milled receiver) and it was a blast!

Find someone you can trust with the fact you're buying this to go over the gun before you buy it. Parts will be very difficult to come by later if anything breaks.

Well, if it truely is a fully-automatic firearm, you're in for a treat.

After all: You can usually expect for them to be in upwards of $15,000.

Okay well I'm going to get it.
Anyone want some pics of it when it gets here?

Sure.

Settle the semi-auto question by taking a close up of the lever markings on the right side of the receiver. If there are three points, then that is a full auto. If there are only two, that's a semi-auto.

And don't be shocked at how loud the safety selector is. The one I used could wake the dead at 30 feet.

If it's full auto, walk away. Otherwise, that's a great deal.

Yeah, if the selector has only two options and is still full auto. That's a no no.

Even if it's a transferable AK, you'd have to be 21 to apply for the stamp.
The bottom line is, a fully automatic AK for $300 is illegal. No doubt about it.

If a deal sounds too good ... it probably is. Be very careful. If you do buy it ... go through all the red tape. Cross every T and dot every I. Personally I would run from it. Too many things could be wrong. And I'm paranoid!

Well, actually, if it wasn't manufactured before may 1986, you have to have a special license for it.

If it was manufactured before that, it's alright as long as you pay the stamp, and are in a MG friendly state.
