[PRP] A Sisterly Outing (Gharadi x Jumuu)

"Come on, Jumuu!"

A call broke across the dry land, not a moment passing before front paws smacked themselves against the ground in an up-beat rhythm, most likely to encourage her sister. Shaking the small, pesky strands of hair that drooped over her silver eyes, Gharadi let out a heaving sigh.

What was taking her so long?! They were going exploring the lands today! Surely the dark grey ball of fluff she dared to call family would see the complete and absolute /urgency/ of the situation and come running to go out with her!

Of course, it was quite early in the morning, the sun still an red/orange half-crescent peeking over the horizon line, so maybe it wasn't so urgent at the moment. But exploring she wanted and exploring she'd get!

Jumuu heaved a heavy sigh, fighting back a groan as her sisters voice encouraged sleep to fall fully from her persons. There would be no sleeping in late this morning, no siree. What had Gharadi talked her in to earlier. . . something about exploring? Oh bother. A sliver of the girl wanted nothing to do with such an event - exploring meant leaving the comfort of everything she knew. . . .

But that was what living was, wasn't it? She'd already been taken from the roguelands and moved in to a pride with all sorts of strangers. That was change enough that the black and white spotted female hadn't appreciated; no one had asked her how she felt over such a thing! And yet now that they were here, the little one wanted to be no where else. Sure, they probably wouldn't be leaving the pride's territory, but Gharadi still meant to explore. . .

And Jumuu just wasn't comfortable with it.

Then again, if she didn't go, not only would her sister be liable to run off without her but Gharadi might indeed do something rash or worse - get hurt! It would be best if Jumuu were around to help keep her wild and crazy sibling from doing something too insane, like running too fast or eating some unknown substance on the ground! Oi ve. "I'm coming, I'm coming~!" She quickly called, rolling to her paws and ignoring the shriek of her bones as she stumbled after her sister.

Ugh. So. . . early.

Wouldn't that mean animals were out wanting breakfast? Oi ve. "It's not like you'll never get to explore again, Gharadi," she mumbled, trotting over to her sister and giving her a little apologetic nuzzle for making her wait. Tail thrashing hypnotically behind her, she stifled a yawn before adding, "Did we really have to go this early?"

Blah. Sleep was nice, and she'd been having pleasant dreams of safety and lulling music.

Lingering in one spot for a moment, the anxious female awaited her sister's entrance. She'd been waiting, well, DAYS or at least hours to take someone out to play and explore with her. In this new pride, everyone seemed too preoccupied or "mature" (she scoffed inwardly at the word, or she would if she knew what it meant)to take time off and have fun with her.

Her mother kept talking about a drum making requirement, her father seemed a little antsy, and none of her brothers ever seemed to be around! What was wrong?

"B-Buh I might never! You dunno that!"

The juve interjected joyfully, returning her sister's nuzzle and butting her shoulder happily.

At the question of the time, the only thing she could think of was: "Why not?" And with that she started bounding off.
