Why stop at biting?

If you were a vampire why stop at biting?

I say chew, munch, rip, or anything your little unbeating heart desires!!!

What would you do?

And I'm pretty sure that's another reason why Edward doesn't want Bella to tag along when he goes hunting, they "turn into other people", basically. Their instincts take over and they chew, bite, and rip as much as they want. <.<;;;;;;;;

The only problem is, if the vampire were to swallow any of the parts of the human, other than the blood, then it would just be floating inside of them forever. They can't use it for fuel because it isn't blood and they can't go to the bathroom so.... Thus, I would stick to biting.

I imagine they would throw it up naturally because the vampire body could not digest it or anything.

I don't think vampires need to go beyond biting since all they need is the blood. Plus if you did rip and shred or what ever, some of it would end up inside of them, and they really don't want that. But oh well...
