It has been quite a while since Zarin went back to check up on his family, but for some reason he had been feeling quite empty while being back in the desert. It didn't take long to realize that he was longing for the ocean, and a certain lioness. Siyasura. His turquoise eyes had gazed forward while he was traveling back to the ocean. The tannish lion had said his good-byes to his family and with that, he was going to be heading back towards what was calling to him.
It felt weird that he missed the ocean and Siya, but there was just something special about that place...something that just attracted him to there. Perhaps it was because of where he was from. The Mistweavers, so that could be why he was just attracted to staying in a place that held water rather than the parched desert. As he felt his paws sink into the sand, he couldn't help but to smile. Now, he'd just have to go searching for a certain someone.

The sea was home and a world beyond it was really beyond the silvery lioness of the sea. She knew nothing else bar for the waves, the sounds, the smells, the sights. The perfect blue skies and the feeling of the briney water upon her body. As was her norm she lay upon her back in a sort of divot formed by the sand which cradled her just at the edge of the sea. The tide rose and slowly kissed at her toes and she knew she must move soon. Not yet though, the water weould come up to her belly before she shifted.
Times were changing and her mind thought more deeply about things these days, about the world, about whos he was and about other things. Mostly about Zarin. A short time ago she had showed the peach coloured male her most sacred hide out, he had left not long after and she felt saddened that he had gone. Where he had gone only confused her. Everything came from the sea, but she lay pondering if the waves would today return Zarin to her shores once again, to her life. She hoped so, a part of her mised him though she didn't truely understand the emotion, she wanted him to be there.

A few more steps took Zarin to the ocean, where the cool waves rushed over his paws. He couldn't help but to let that smile that was tugging at the corners of his mouth spread across his features. This is what he had been missing,t hat was for sure. His tail flicked slightly before he turned. As the gentle breeze blew past him, he caught whif of a familiar scent. It was just the one he was thinking about. With a playful twinkle in his eye, he started to head towards her direction, hoping to catch up with her. It would be a nice surprise on this pleasant day.
Softly, he hummed a tune that his mother used to hum to him and his siblings while they were sleeping. For some reason it had come back to him at a time like this. Well, he had left not too long ago, right after he was given something special by Siya. He was excited, and for some reason thinking of her would make his heart speed forward slightly.

Cool blue eyes opened slowly at the sound of footsteps, the sea breeze filled her nose and masked the scent of the new comer but she rolled over with a flump of sand her cheek pressed against the compacted sand that had been underneath her. A wide smile formed on her lips as her eyes adjusted to being open in the bright sunlight and a puurr echoed over her tongue.
"Zarin!" She called rolling to her paws in a heart beat and belting down the sandy shore sand whooshing up around her in waves she was so excited. Her ears flickered forwards just as she pounced the older male, a small silver cannonball of a critter "Zarin!" she giggld unable to find any other words to express her joy at him being there, just when she was htinking of him. The sea was clearly psychic.

It wasn't too long before something called out his name and tackled him to the ground. With a chuckle, Zarin knew immediately from the scent who it was. Siya! Nudging at her gently, he purred softly in greeting. "What a welcome back, Siya. It's good to see you again." And that was the truth, he had missed her. His turquoise eyes fell on the silver lioness before he stood up and shook the sand off of him. "My family is doing well back in the desert. I told them that it would probably be a while before I saw them again..." His gaze shifted towards the ocean with a smile, "There is just something about the ocean that draws me back to it." He turned to look at her, "I am happiest here. How have you been, Siya?"

Snuffling around the larger male the little solver lioness smiled. She had to check this wasn't another one of her dreams after all. Once she was satisfied that this was infact reality and not a salt caused hilucination she let that sweet smile become pasted upon ehr maw.
"I bin good Zarin." She coos sitting slowly so that the sand cusioned around her. "You went to your family?" She tilted her head gently a strange curiosity in her eyes. She wondered what exactly a desert was but let it roll out of her mind as quickly as it had come. It must be a part of the sea some where. "I'ms glad you back" she gave a slow affirmative nod "we missed you, me an tha sea." She giggles.

Turquoise eyes watched the silver lioness curiously. Zarin wasn't sure what she was doing, but when she had sat down and spoke, he couldn't help but feel his throat tighten a bit. She was just so lovely sitting there on the sand, it was so natural to her. He pushed the thoughts out of the way, as he paid attention to her. With a nod, "Yea, my family lives quite a bit away from here. I like to go and see them every now and then, just to see how they are doing."
At her giggle, he smiled back brightly, "I'm glad to hear that. I missed you and the sea very much." He went to tease her lightly, "Can't have too much fun without me here!"

Siyasura tilted her head curiously her pale watery blue eyes searching his features for what he was thinking. When he spoke a further giggle rolled over her lips. "Silly Zarin, much more fun when you is here playin' with me." She coos her tail wriggling in the sand causing a happy little sand wave behind her. She was ever so pleased to see him. "You'll stay for a long time this time?" Siyasura did not understand subtleties so there was little point in asking her to do so, asking him to stay outright was the only way she could understand. "you'll stay with me?" She tilted her head. "I missed you lots."

Her words caught Zarin's attention. They were so carefree, and that's what made him slightly attracted to her. He couldn't help but feel his face heat up slightly at his thoughts. What was he thinking afterall? This was his friend! He went to nudge her cheek playfully as he replied, "Of course, Siya. I said my good-byes to my family. I can stay here as long as you want me too!" He would go by every word he was saying. If she wanted him to stay here and live with her, he would do just that. He was ready to do as she pleased, to help protect and make her as happy as possible. While he didn't quite know it yet, he was starting to fall for the sweet and innocent Siya...falling hard too. There wasn't much to keep him at his family's new home, he didn't quite enjoy being there and other than his family, he wouldn't miss anything. But, he was grown and shouldn't be as restricted to do as his heart desired.
With a playful look, he flicked his tail against her softly.

Siyasura smiled sweetly those watery blue eyes glistening. She was full of innocence and she could really speak nout but the truth. Of course the fact thats eh wanted Zarin to stay for her was something she could say without any fear of retribution. At his aggreement to stay her tail flickered happily and she pawed at the sand in a jaunty manner her sweet blue eyes fixed on the peachy male.
Siya of course knew she felt for Zarin, she wanted him around all the time, it made her more happy (if at all possible), than she normally was when he came for his short visits. Now though he was going to stay. "Good, I like it much better when Zarin is around me, he Makes me happy."

With a bright smile upon his features, Zarin was purring softly in contempt. He was glad to see that she was so happy with his decision. Even if it meant giving up seeing his family so often, Siya was precious to him, he admitted to that. He just couldn't leave her for too long, as she and the sea called him back to her.
Turquoise eyes twinkled brightly as he stood up and went next to her. He tilted his head slightly, "Siya, want to play?" He knew she loved to play, she just had that carefree attitude about her, and that's what attracted him to her.

Siyasura gave a childish giggle as the word play rolled off of Zarins lips she broke in to a run towards the water. "Catch me!" she quips speeding off through the suddy tide through the shallows and down the beach.
"Too fast for zarin!" She giggles her tail high in the air and her laughter filling the surrounding area with it's joyful calls.

No sooner had the peachy male asked his question did Zarin watched Siya dash off into the water. Her playful words echoed in his mind. He stuck out his tongue playfully before calling you, "You cheater...getting a head start on me!" It was all in jest of course!
With a leap, the male darted after Siya through the waves. Water was splashing everywhere, but he couldn't help but to smile at the fun. Siya was always wanting to play, she was rather carefree and he liked that about her. "I'll get you, Siya!"

Siyasura giggled loudly as she raced downt he beach her long gangly youthful legs, so used to the movements of the waves shifting swiftly through the low tide. "Nuuh!" she called back with a whoop as she leapt above the waves splashing down a good few feet from where she had taken off. This was her shore line she knew every bump, crevice and stone on the shore.
That jump, though it was fun was also for a reason beneath the waves there was a rather large rock which was much easier to jump over than run over. She had learned that a long time ago, it hurt your toes if you walked in to it.

With the waves crashing against the male, Zarin was completely soaked head to toe. His turquoise eyes were twinkling brightly as Siya was having a blast as well. As she called back to him, he couldn't help but to smile. This was definitely more like what the two of them did together. Have fun and play! He stumbled a bit here and there, but he watched her jump in awe. She definitely knew the shoreline very well, like the back of her paw. He pushed forward, getting a bit closer to her.
