[lol Juve!Noki *lazy about getting image*] Noki was usually the quiet, passive one of her siblings. She was happy to have a home, somewhere that they always would have a home.. but she was still a little worried about how her mother had simply gone away. She couldn't really remember which direction they had come to the swamp from anymore, and had no idea which direction her mother could have gone.. but that had been quite some time ago. They all seemed to adjusting OK to life here, Noki thought it was extremely fascinating and did her very best to learn as much about it as she could. It was easy when the whole pride gathered for certain things, and she liked to imagine she was catching on. She had yet to make any new friends, though, preferring to stick by her family. That was what this little adventure was about- she was out in search of someone new to talk to, to perhaps make a friend.
So she was far from her family, from all of the others, playing around in the swamp. She found it to be very wet around here, very squishy. Part of her wondered if she and Siyara might find any of those strange hoppers around here.. if it liked that pond, it must like this kind of place! So with that thought in mind, she broadened her search from other lions to frogs as well.

Kiwi had always been quiet; that was not a shock to anyone who had known her. Since the relocation, however, she'd had conversations with very few lions; her 'aunt', mostly, but nothing out of her way to be social. Rather, she had focussed on watching and learning. It hadn't been an actively social lifestyle, but honestly, she'd never talked much in the first place. Now, she focussed only on being stronger for her family back home.
Which is exactly where her mind had taken her today. Trudging quietly through the swamplands, as not to not disturb anyone, Kiwi paid no mind to the other lioness around. In actuality, she didn't even realize the other was there. Her mind was wrapped around Riko and Bubu at the moment- were they alright back home? Nothing had happened to them, had it? She quietly made her way to a drier patch of land, sitting there and musing to herself. Surely nothing would've happened to them; they were smart, and resourceful! And they didn't have her to care for, after all.
At this, she smiled. She'd just have to keep telling herself they were better off at home without her.

Little Noki was squishing her way along the water's edge, keeping her eyes peeled for any signs of frogs and occasionally checking around for other lions. She didn't want to disturb anyone, but she did need to meet some others outside of the family. A very bright spot in the dim swampy area caught Noki's attention when she looked up once, and she found herself staring (quite rudely) at a very colorful lioness.
With a very squishy sound, Noki pulled herself from the muddy water and walked cautiously towards the smiling lioness.
"Hello?" she called curiously.

Flicking her ears at the voice of the other lioness, Kiwi quickly turned and looked over to the other. She was silent for a moment, observing the younger girl with mild curiosity, before she smiled once more.
"Hello!" She called back brightly, trying to distract herself from the worries of her family back home. Re-adjusting herself to sit more formally and upright, Kiwi watched the other lioness' approach, actually quite thankful for the company. It was nice being alone, yes, but.. wasn't part of being strong the ability to handle other people? Or something like that. Char... char.. something like that, was the word for it.
"Nice day, isn't it?" Yes, that was a good conversation- everyone could talk about the weather! She opened her mouth to speak once more, and suddenly jolted her head.
"CHARISMATIC! That's the word for it!" She cried suddenly, followed by a laugh. And it was the perfect opportunity to work on being charismatic, t-
..Oh. Right. The other lioness WAS watching. Her laugh trailing into a nervous giggle, Kiwi shyly looked away.
"S..sorry. Remembered something I was thinking about."

Noki smiled shyly at the older lioness when she called out a greeting and commented on the weather. She nodded brightly at the question and looked a bit confused and startled at the yelling of a rather big word that she didn't recognize. Standing a few feet away from Kiwi, Noki started in wonder as she tried to figure it out- and not wanting to make the blue lioness worry she glanced away, it was rude to stare. She'd have to ask daddy what the word meant later.
"That's ok," she said, glancing back up, "I'm Noki. Who're you?"
