If we're talking about a monster, then I'd safely bet that we won't have to worry about it. If it's exoskeleton were to be that thick, then it'd be a space monster and we're truly screwed, or then it'd consume so many calories that it'd get malnutrition and die of starvation [or it'd just lay and sleep, letting us humans successfully analyze the body to find its weakspots].
As per zombies: Don't even worry about. If it were to be that strong, then there's two things that could happen. A.) The zombies would be superstrong, and super heavy, it'd take several years for the complete incubation/growing period. Which's more than enough time for the government to quarantine the area. Or B.) God made it that way, and he's ridding the earth of unwanted sinners. If he wants you to die, you'll die. But that doesn't mean stop trying, do your best.

Thdark Stoic Socialist exploding-waffles well its supposed to be from the sea, so it has to withstand immense pressure, so it probably has a pretty tough hide. If an deep-sea fish comes out from the deep-sea, what happens? It just falls apart. As far as we know yes. The Giant Squid lives in deep depths but has been seen rather close to the surface. Angler fish are also used for cooking, and are the most well known deep sea fish. I don't cook much, but the Angler Fish I've seen being prepared are well intact.
Then again, this is not my area of expertise, this is just based on my limited information on this subject :/
I didn't say explode, I just said fall-apart.

I never even said explode either :I

Stoic Socialist exploding-waffles well its supposed to be from the sea, so it has to withstand immense pressure, so it probably has a pretty tough hide. I forgot what principal it was, but for an object to not cave in from immense pressure, it'd need to push out that same pressure.
If an astronaut goes to space without a spacesuit, he explodes. Why? Because the liquids in his body push out, and there's no atmosphere, or not enough, to push those liquids down.
If an deep-sea fish comes out from the deep-sea, what happens? It just falls apart. i think astronauts work on the reverse principal, that there is greater pressure in the suit (and your flesh) then outside, but it remains true.
