Chozi was walking awkwardly along the shore of the ocean, staring at his overly-large paws. He'd gone through a growth spurt over the past few weeks and he was still getting used to his larger body. He felt awkward, like he couldn't move around as easily. At least he had kept tripping when ever he'd chase the waves back and forth or went crab hunting.
After a few more steps he huffed and plopped down, staring out at the water. He wondered where Kapuki was...

It seemed the meeting with Tau had been a good influence on Tamu, and had certainly lifted her spirits a little. For a while, she was beginning to think she and her siblings were the only hormonally challenged ones around here. It felt weird to say it, but it was almost reassuring to know that she wasn't the only angsty one.
She hopped along her favourite stepping stones, humming a tune her father had sang in her childhood. Heh, it was still amusing to recall Tamba singing to the family, and even now, Tamu wore a great smile.
Her stones were a great vantage point and she saw the white blob on the beach that was Chozi. She hopped down and padded over, quite energetic.
"Greetings," she beamed.

He gave a little start as someone unfamaliar to him greeted him and he twisted himself to let his gaze wander to that of the speaker. He beamed at the other though, eyes roaming over the dark blue on her coat. She looked like someone he'd met before... He thought for a while. Ah, she looked like the king! It had been a while since he'd last seen the large lion.
He glanced down to himself and pouted slightly, he was still considerably small for his age. Well, that couldn't be helped!
Getting lost in his own thoughts he'd almost ignored her before rising to his paws and turning to face the stranger. "Hi there!" He said, his voice quite cheerful.

Tamu smiled at him, a little amused at his antics, but knew what it was like meeting someone new for the first time, and so forgave him any slip-ups he might have had.
"Pleasure to meet you, my name's Tamu," she said, giving a polite bow.

He smiled lightly and his head tilted, still wondering if she was related or not. He couldn't recall much of what his meeting with the king had been about, that was a while ago. Best not to worry about it perhaps.
"Tamu... that's a lovely name." He nodded to himself, it was a cute name and short. Like his own! "My name is Chozi, you live in this pride?" He assumed she did, he had only met one outsider actually on the beachy parts of the land and he and his family still stayed on the outskirts, they were not a part of the pride. His mother always told him they would be, someday. He figured she really wanted to be a part of a large family, that was how she explained a pride to him anyhow.
"I'm not part of it," He was not too shy about talking to strangers, he didn't mind sharing about his life. "My family lives close though. We all like it here very much, it's beautiful."

"Oh...why thank you," she smiled and even blushed a little at his compliments. "Its a pleasure to meet you Chozi."
She was definitely in the best mood she'd ever been in in recent days and it showed. Her eyes glistened, her tail swished and she practically glowed. She took a minute to examine Chozi - he had a very pale pelt, offset by the vivid red. In fact, he actually reminded her of Sevati. A little anyways.
"Yes, I was born here. My family are the royals," she said, a little bit of that awkwardness of such a heritage creeping in.
Tamu was a little surprised that they had been here so long and not become members of the pride. Perhaps they were shy?

Oh! So her family were royals! And that meant the king! "Oh! I've met your father when I was very little... he's so big!" He said, a note of awe in his voice.
He didn't even notice the awkwardness that was creeping in, he was generally oblivious to others' feelings of discomfort. "My parents aren't royal." He stated, though that would be obvious if hers were. "But my father is a seer!" He boasted slightly, not because he was trying to impress but because he was proud, he loved his father. Of course, he still didn't know what a seer was. "Tabaradi too... though I don't really know what a seer does." He frowned slightly.

"Big...?" she snirked and raised an eye-brow in disbelief. It must have been a very long time ago then. Tamu had in fact surpassed her father in size! She chuckled a little, and felt that 'aww' for her poor diminuative father.
"A seer?"
It was clear that Tamu as well was not sure what a seer did. Perhaps some kind of spiritualist? Miani would be of similar kin, surely. Judging by the pride in Chozi's voice, it must be something special in order to gain that kind of respect.
"I've never heard of a 'seer' before either."
