Woot! We now officially have a forum just for RPGing!

There are some rules:

There must a 'captain' of each role play. These people must set the storyline and invite suitable characters, depending on the period in which the RP is set.

You cannot set the role play in an alternate or fantasy universe. This is a history guild after all ^_^

The RP captain can change the plot as he/she sees fit, and can control the players to some degree, but there cannot be what is called 'god modding'--controlling every single thing other players do, especially if it changes it in your specific favor.

New-ish rule--If you're interested in starting your own role play, please run it by me first. It's not a big thing--I just want to check out your plotline and know that you're starting one. And since our guild is pretty small, let's not have more than three at a time. Thanks everyone ^_^

Demo RPG

Just to help regulate the role playing, a simulation:

My RPG is called Questing for The Holy Grail

Storyline: A druid prietstess helps some knights and their pages and squires on thier quest for the Holy Grail

My Character:
Name biggrin ierdre
Appearance:
White hair, pale skin, wears white fur cloak.
Likes: Wolves, winter, nature
Dislikes: hunters, loggers, anyone who destroys nature


Then, other members will apply with similar lists and the 'captian' will choose who becomes part of thier role play.


You don't have to lay it out exactly like this or anything, just something similar so other members can see exactly what's going on and participate as well ^_^

*nods* Yes, you're allowed to post your RP whenever you like. It's special priveledge 'cause you donated to help get this forum in the first place. If anyone else not on the 'donators list' were to make an RPG, they'd have to run it by me first.

btw, Syn, the RPG above is just for show. It's not really a role play. You have to make your own. *hugs*

But, just for a random example (no offense meant, I swear) I would probably have accepted your character if this were a real RPG because I would need knights and their pages and squires (or maybe their ladies lol).

When people 'apply' for an RPG you can choose whether you want thier character or not ^_^
