So I Have This Old 10/22 Barrel...

And I'm thinking about building a rifle around it without resorting to any other pre-fabricated gun parts.
I would appreciate any ideas you guys might come up with about how to set up the hammer/trigger group.
My initial thought is to copy the action of a Marlin 100G, but if you can come up with a more simple set-up I'd owe you one.

That Marlin 100G action does look fairly simple.

Are you thinking of making just a single shot or something with a magazine?

what will you do for a chamber is the better question...

i can't look at mine right now but I don't think the chamber is made into the barrel.

Single shot. If I aim for anything more complicated it'll end up on the back burner for awhile.

The chamber is already cut. That's the original barrel that I took off when I bought the .920 BBL.
