alrite, so I'm debating whether or not ot install my sims 2 game onto my laptop but first i wondered how i'd tranferr all the files frm my old folder to the new ones on my laptop...I get that I'd have to save them to a thumbdrive....but then wat?? dramallama

If you have a big enough drive then just copy the entire The Sims 2 folder onto it from My Documents> EA Games. Install the Sims 2 onto your laptop and then delete the The Sims 2 folder it creates and replace it with the copied one. I hope that makes sense.
