-- AIM Rp between Palia and Wingu Waya ((Tae & DFA)) Palia hummed and padded along, put in considerably better spirits by meeting Adi'sa. He was lovely and thoughtful and smart, and he listened to her. He had even agreed with her about many things! It made her feel all adult-ly, like her opinions were important. She was wandering back to the Wolf Clan, now, somewhat bored, but in a cheerful mood, all things considered.Wingu was, amusingly enough, likewise sattisfied with life. He'd discovered an interesting ant hill, and had spent the past hour and a half stomping around (mindful of not killing the creatures - for after all WHAT would momma SAY?), "Rawwwwr!" he proclaimed, "I am the big, bad, evil WINGU of FIRE!" he told the ant whom looked up at him in boredone; after a half an hour of the .... thing stomping around without hurting them, they'd settled down and were ignoring him quite dutifully, "Fear, mortals!"Palia's ears perked up at this ruckus, and she curiously made her way towards the source of the noise, snickering softly as she spotted Wingu looking less than dignified. She lowered herself to the ground and slowly, ever so slowly, slunk towards him, bent on taking him by surprise. For his part, the white cub was too busy doing his lovely little impression of Winguzilla for the uncaring ants whom had decided the cub was complete and utter nuisence, "Yes! Yes!" he claimed as he lowered to peek into the ant hill hole, "Run away~~ into your.... hole! You have seen the face of evil today!" The ants wondered if someone wouldn't PLEASE keep the nuisence away, because honestly, it'd been trerrifying for five whole minutes, and then it'd not even been worthy of background noise.
Needless to say that the young male was too busy to really notice Palia's approach.Pleased by her apparent silent approach, Palia let a sly grin curl over her muzzle as she crouched, tensed, and... POUNCED! "AHA!" She shouted, flying through the air towards him, forepaws extended in a cunning attempt to bowl him head-over-paws.

"I will-!" the ants never figured out what Winguzilla would have, for no sooner had the words escaped his maw that the young male's body was tackled to the ground (And good riddance! Thought the ants as they rolled their many billions of eyes).
Wingu on the other hand was having trouble making heads or tails of the situation; first he'd been looming and now he found himself on the ground. With something on top of him. Blinking in confusion he focused his attention on the girl on top of him, a smirk gracing his maw, "Hey, Palia!" utterly unashamed of the position he currently found himself in, the cub waggled his tail as he remain pinned, "Did'yah see? I totaly had those ants cowering!"
Palia broke out laughing, throwing her head back and then lowering it to chew on Wingu's ear. "Oh yeah, they were begging for mercy!" She agreed, grinning. "I heard them, they were saying 'Help us, Palia! Save us from this horrible beast!', so I had to come to their rescue."
"They totally were!" Came the rather proud chirp, "Silently, but that's okay; can't expect them to scream, poor things," His ear flickered as she chewed on it, but for some odd reason he seemed perfectly fine with it, and her weight on him. Leaning his head back, he pressed the top of it to the ground and gazed at the world upside down, "Dude, the world's so much more interesting from this perspective," a pause as he looked back up and smirked again; that annoying stretching of his maw that almost seemed to proceed some sort of.... Wingu-like-comment, "Yah know," he told her as he leaned in, his maw seeking the side of her face, "Yer still on me," he told her, almost as if his words had double meaning.
Needless to say, Wingu had spotted his parents playing or goofing about more than once. He bet his hide Nyota had something to say about that, but the large male had never caught him.
"Really?" Palia asked, tilting her head. If things did look different from upside-down, she would certainly have to try it. She glanced back at him, looking slightly apprehensive as he got that LOOK. She folded her ears back as he leaned in, and slid off him, looking uncomfortable again. "Oh. Sorry."
"Really, really," he claimed as her expression changed into that of uncomfortable silence. chuckling, he sat up, brushing himself off rather deftly, "You know, you're all....." he seemed to be fishing for a word, and failing at finding one to describe Palia, "Skittish," he told her finaly, a 'tsk' sounding as he clicked his tongue over his teeth.
It never failed to amuse him how no matter the fact they'd know eachother for a while, he managed to drag that expression out of her, "Not gonna eat yah," he told her, as if it were an obvious fact.

"I'm not." She argued, if only out of habit. She flopped onto the ground and rolled onto her back, looking up at him upside-down. "Whoa! You're right! Haha! It does look different!" She squinted and laughed. "You look soooo funny this way."
He snorted, "You so do," he confirmed out of habit too, "You always look uncomfortable," he tilted his head with a smile, his form sprawled on the ground as he watched her imitate his previous pose. A chuckle rose up his throat, "It do, dun it?" and then, he shamelessly flopped on her and reached up to chew on her ear in turn, "Turn-about's fair play," he told her. Though it sounded rather muffled by her pelt as he clung to her.
"Nuh uh!" She shot back, leaning up to n** at him as he flopped on her. "I do not!" She kicked at him with her hind paws playfully, trying to roll him to the side and detatch his teeth from her ear. "Hey, I was looking at stuff!" She said with a grin. "I don't interrupt you when you're looking at stuff!"
"/I/ was looking at the ants and you pounced me; I think that counts," he told her tartly as he nipped at her ear, chuckling softly. He did manage to somehow remain in place though, not moved by the kicks, which he countered with his own feet.
She was larger now though, and it was obvious his dominance was not going to last - he wasn't going 'down' without a fight though.
"Psssh, you were bullying them. It was my duty to save them!" She returned smugly, wrestling him sideways with her forepaws. "Rrrargh!" she said finally, exerting a burst of strength in a valiant attempt to turn the tables.

"To bully someone, you need to hurt them, or they need to CARE, which they obviously not!" he countered rather proudly, "Since I wasn't stepping on them and they were going about their bussiness!" of course, the effort to talk made his maw retreate from her ear and it was then that the battle was won, in Palia's favour.
Not like minded much. Tell truth, he merely did what he did because he found it utterly... something, or other, when she was angry and bickered with him. Giggles bubbled up as he pressed his nose to hers, this time innocently, "Your roar sounds like you're squawking."
"HA!" She crowed triumphantly, lifting her chin and looking down at him with a smug smile. "Gotcha!" However, at his comment about her roar, she scowled, pushing her nose back against his. "Hey, my roar is... is awesome and intimidating!" She said, letting out another one to prove her point. "RRrrraarrrgh!"
"Yah, I know," he refrained from telling her that he actualy did not mind, though he snorted slightly at her. He liked the fact she didn't cry anymore... and he rather liked having someone to play with that wasn't related to him.
"Is so not," he laughed at her as she 'roared' again, "It sounds like a bird squawking!" he did not tell her that this was normal; cubs got their roars only later on.
She made a pouty face. "Oh yeah, well let's hear your roar, then, mister roar expert!" She challenged, giving him a superior look. It was easy to do when you had the other lion pinned under you to feel superior.
"I can't!" he said with a smirk, "Dude, cubs can't roar; I'm just a bit.... more careful when and where I practice. Not in front of you!" he, on the other hand, did not seem to feel very inferior in the situation; in fact, Wingu looked laid back and extremely amused. Then he pushed himseld up, brushed his cheek against hers, purred and waited for her to react, hoping she'd lose her balance so he'd be able to get up. As amusing as this was, he couldn't let others see him like that!
"Go on, try it!" She said, sounding less competitive and more curious, now. "I wanna hear yours." She was more focused on the roaring now than pinning him down with any actual effort, so his leaning up alone set her slight off balance, and the nuzzle/purr was enough to make her back off completely. She backed up a few feet and eyed him cautiously.
