After talking to Aure, Unyezi was considerably calmer than he had been immediately after his little chat with his older brother. Now all he had to do was wait for those he'd set Njiru back for to show up, the discussion with Mitsuki would be considerably lighter than the discussion to take place with Mvushi. Pacing near the dens, the king tried to plan what he'd have to say, what he'd have to find out from Mvushi. It was unlikely to end happily, even Mvushi likely realized it. All that was left to do was wait and see how things went, see if Mvushi could make a reasonably case for himself..

"Nice day," he muttered to himself. Njiru was back, that was bad enough, but no- he had to bring with him other news that further made the day less than cheerful. Unyezi shook his head, shaking away the thoughts- resuming his calm but also his anxious pacing.

Being the bearer of bad news was never an easy job. And of course, it was in no way rewarding. Unyezi had been easily riled up by his older brother, a gold-digger in a sense. Calming him down had been only natural but it did have something to say for his character. He didn't like this side of things.

The best thing that Aureole could do would be to seek him out and stand by. For moral support, she told herself. Not that she believed this would get out of hand or anything. But she never knew if she would need to stand in or speak up.

She drew herself closer. "Yes indeed," she replied, trying to sound cheerful.

Mvushi moved through the lands with a cringe to each step. Oh he wanted to put this off as long as possible, but knew he could not. He'd already thought of the worse things that could happen, but never had he imagined he would be in his current class. Oh how Denge had fooled him! The worst part of it might be the fact she was not originally from around her, so she'd no way of knowing what she'd done to his life by abandoning him like she had. Sure, he'd given up all he had to be mated to her... but it was different when the female high tailed it away from him. He was embaressed and pissed at the whole situation, but he had to keep telling himself things would go back to normal after speaking with Unyezi.

As he approached he could spot the queen and king both, and he swallowed, his body tesnsing up even more. "You called, sire?" He said, trying to stay calm. He bowed his head to Unyezi and then Aureole.

Unyezi glanced over to Aureole and did his best to smile at her, at least she was doing a good job of keeping a light mood. Things had seemed so much easier before the move, but then he hadn't had anything to worry about except the decision to move- and Shira had had a big part in that, since she was the resident expert on their precious plant supply. They'd had no options then, but now he did have a couple.

When Mvushi came into view, he turned his attention from his queen to the approaching slave. It was very clear how tense Mvushi was, but Unyezi immediately had to put on his 'business' face.

"Mvushi," he said in a way of greeting before getting right to the point, "Njiru tells me that you were found without an escort, that you and Denge had been traveling alone."

Aureole looked upon Mvushi as he approached, his body displaying that he very clearly realized the ramifications of his actions. She felt a pang of sympathy for him, wishing that they could help him rather than having to deal with the actions. But laws were laws. Bending one made others feel that they could do the same with others.

Her eyes waited patiently to search the slave's face for any answer beyond a verbal one.

He stayed standing, ears flicking as they seemed to capture the kings words, who was getting straight to the point. "That is.. correct." He said slowly, wondering if he should just offer the information or let the king drag it out of him? He knew it could be dangerous to play the waiting game, but he was in no honest mood. He'd realized there was slim chance of him gaining his rank back, and he would be blamed for Denge leaving but it was not as if he'd told her to get away, he was very much attached to his pride regardless of his disdain for his current position.

"We had gotten seperated from one of the larger groups and when we met up with Njiru the obvious answer was to travel with him." He'd spat the other lion's name, angry as he was. Angry and... sullen, almost like a youngster.

Unyezi was tempted to look over at Aure, but until Mvushi spoke he dared not move his gaze from the slave in question. Only once Mvushi was finished explaining what had happened did Unyezi looked over at Aure with raised eyebrows to see if she had anything she particularly wanted to say or if Mvushi would be forced to continue.
