AIM RP between Justin (Ledi) and Kate (Lela).
Having completely settled into her new home, Lela was to the point where she was comfortable enough to lay stretched out on her side in the sun. She was cat napping, just asleep enough that her body was getting its rest. If something were to pitter patter near enough for her to hear it, she would've woken up. It was that state of sleep where dreams were at their craziest. Every little breeze and every little sound had wild effects on what the lioness saw on the back of her eyelids. Zany colors and insane beasts moved about odd scenery, playing games that her mind had conjoured up on the spot. Watching the show, Lela wiggled a little, twitching her tail and a paw. What a messed up dream this was.
Curiously, the younger adolescent walked towards the familiar looking tan lioness. It was interesting to watch her sleep. Her beautiful face would twist into awkward expressions from time to time, possibly the victim of a bad dream. Dinaledi looked her over, her fur shined beautifully in the sunlight. He wasn't sure if he should let her continue sleeping, or wake her up. Since no one else was around he decided for the latter. He hadn't had the chance to talk to her since the pride had settled, and they had some catching up to do. Gently, he extended his paw and pressed it against her shoulder. He bent his head down to her ear, and whispered into it. "Lela, it's Ledi."
Lela smiled a little in her sleep. In her dream, a purple version of Dinaledi was floating around with the other weird looking critters. Slowly, the scene started to dissolve. Her eyes blinked drowsily. A blurred blue figure was in front of her, surrounded by the all too sunny plateau. It took several moments for things to come into focus. "Le... Ledi?" She stretched her jaw and pushed up off her shoulders and onto her stomach. "Oh." She yawned and blinked a few more times. "It's you." A smile spread across her maw.
It'd been a while since she'd been able to really chat with her childhood friend since moving here. Everyone had been so busy settling in. "I was just... taking a nap." She looked at her paws and then at her impression in the savannah grass. Must've been a long nap.
