you know their making two live action Akira movies, and the rumor is that D'Caprio is going to play Kanenda and Joseph Gordon-Levitt is going to play Tetsuo, i think both are wroung though, i mean i saw Leonardo in Blood Diamonds and he was way too old, and i think they got JG-L mixedup with hm playing Cobra Commander on the new G.I Joe movie.

(But yeah that movie was awesome, i bought it without knowing it was rated R and the guy at gamestop sold it to me even though im a minor be cause he said he liked anime too.)

i actually watched the movie out of boredom.
and i was glad i put it on.
i'd never heard anything about it before.
(it was on demand)
and really enjoyed it.
it was an amazing film.

i have seen it many time but out of the two i have seen like the one with swaring it makes it seem more like the people then with non.

really good movie loved it! (actually spelt Akira by the way. sorry crying ) but it was an excellent movie one of my favorites if I were to choose. I really want to get the manga but I've only seen it once and didn't buy it then. still a great movie though. (watched like 7 or 8 times before one of my friends lost it. crying crying scream )

I love Akira. Though, when I first saw it I thought it was kind of confusing. It's the kind of movie you have to watch a few times to totally understand it.

The animation is so amazing on Akira and the choices for voice actors are phenomenal.
