My hiatus is broken to announce:  And I'm buying it! It's real and everything! Turns out it's known as a Samurai Shooter Sword. Anyone else have any swords from Blood+ or anime they'd love to own as real counterparts?

I would love to own Saya's sword from the second half of the series, It think it's the red hilt and jewel that make it that more threatening. Or Diva's sword from the last couple of episodes.
Even Hagi's dagger like things are pretty neat looking.

Here's a thread I started 2 or 3 weeks ago that has links to websites that sells Saya's swords and other anime weapons. It also has a picture of Saya's second sword that you said you liked, D-i-v-a. 3nodding Saya's Sword

Well, my only dislike of any of the swords in the site I found this in and the one Yami posted is that they aren't folded steel.
I will be getting a hold of a folded steel sword soon, so long as my father and I put a little time forth into my current soon-to-be hobby.
*Ordered sponge-covered Daito swords for practice, as well as Kendo swords and Boken*

I own both of her swords, and trust me, they don't disappoint. If you're able to buy one, do it. It's worth every single penny and then some. The only problem is that they are not full tang, handmade, or made out of high carbon steel, but for the price you really can't go wrong. Their pictures will have the handle wrapped in brown cloth and the top of the scabbard is black, however, the handle is red, as well as the top of the scabbard as shown in the above pics. I have a replica one from Anime Boston, but its not a real dagger. Its just made out of stainless steal and its only about 4-5 inches long. It still looks really cool tho and even came with a scabbard smile
