Video of "Fox-Trotting"
...Apparently it's a technique that abuses the starting dash animation to move across the stage a fair bit faster. According to the video all characters can do this as well as dashdance.
Apparently the two can be combined to form some interesting moves, such as changing direction without losing momentum and immediate dash attacks in the opposite direction.
...I appologise if this is old news, but I thought it was kinda cool. I might have to get used to a Gamecube Controller again.
