Diva's death: depressing?

Ok, so i thought I would rejoice and be uber happy when diva died, but i got depressed instead. saya's reaction started to depress me.

So, how did you feel when diva died?

i kinda felt the same as you...

first I was all, "ugh finally shes ded"
Then saya was all, "Whaaaaa!"
Then I was all, "Well, maybe that's sad..."
*shot of Diva's stone eyes*
"Well...ok thats really tragic...but good to!"
*more crying*
*OK OK! it was sad, all right? I GOT IT!"

"...ok now i'm just going to cry..."

I thought it was sad, too. crying I was happy the world wouldn't be over run with Chiropterans, but it was still sad.

It was kind of weird for me...Most people tend to lean more towards one side..either they like Diva more, or they like Saya more...I was kinda in the middle so I was sad when the sword went in...but I watched the Jap version of that episode first, so Saya's whole "Take me with you sister" part ended up....moving(?) me.
I dunno..it made me sad.

And I didn't like the way the Dub. version did the ending episodes...
I liked Saya asking Diva to take her with her...
It made it more dramatic...more emotional.

Yes, it was definitely more emotional in Japanese.

I was happy Diva died. I didn't want her to be anywhere near Riku's kids. She would have made them Evil and Amshel would have experimented on them.

well yes that's true but wasn't it sad when saya was all like, "I'll fix you!" that almost made me wanna cry

I cried like a baby, I mean i had my pillow to my chest and was sobbing!!
All this time i was waiting for the end then the reaction of saya, and the way she tried to put her back together crushed me. ;O;

oh i know. i felt so sad for saya.

I wasn't happy or sad when Diva died, I was sorta in the middle when she died.

I was sad when Diva died...she wouldn't have ended up like that if they had treated her like they treated Saya. All she wanted was a family...poor Diva...

I'll admit I had tears brimming in my eyes when she died. I was among those who thought perhaps it would have been a relief to see her go, but Saya's reaction just tore into me. Kai and Haji's reactions - and in particular the way he broke his promise by telling her to live - just made it harder to watch, I was starting to shake it was so depressing. sad

This, of course, was with the beautiful Japanese subtitles. I was forced to watch the dub a couple of times due to there not being subtitled episodes available and my ears bled...it was so bad. So wrong. mad

i was glad when she finally died but it was a little depressing.
