Books That You Think Should Become Movies

Do you have any personal favorite books that doesn't have a movie out - but you would like one?

My favorite author is Mike Lupica. He writes the best teenage sports books in my opinion. He's the author of Heat, Miracle on 49th Street, Travel Team, and Summer Ball. I'd like to see those, especially Summer Ball, as movies.

I would like to see Coin Locker Babies actually completed, instead of them constantly pushing the date.

Bobby Pendragon series. Awesome books, and while I was reading them, I could totally picture it being a movie.

hmmmm, I'm not sure.
I'd like to have "Lord of the FLies" as a movie, even if it is a bit gruesome.

and what about "the Giver" ? they should have done a movie about it too.

Oooh - another one would be Small Steps, by Louis.. (insert however you spell the guy's name who also wrote Holes) I think the sequel book was awesome and should become a movie as well.

I actually think a lot of novels should at least have a chance to become a movie.

actually, there are 2 'lord of the flies' movies. the first came out in 1963 which is the one i remember seeing and the remake which came out in 1990.

you could try going to imdb.com to see whether or not someone is actually making a film version of any of your favorite books. and 'the giver' may be coming out in 2011, it's iffy.

I definately think that The Perks of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky should become a movie. I heard that Chobosky was writing a screenplay for a movie adaptation, but there's been no word on it since. It would make a great film.

I'm not really a fan of movies made from books. They always leave out important details or change things around.

I would rather read a book based off of a movie rather than watch a movie based off of a book.
