I know its silly, but in a zombie invasion,
I might actually consider ( being lighter ammunition and all...
.22 Belt Fed

Just because the ammo is lighter, you can move faster.
Ammunution is cheaper and just as deadly as any for a zombie killing weapon.

And being a .22 maybe a silencer would be easier to find, I have seen many a silencer, but some at a Big 5 near me are .117 or .22 compatible. ( Yes, its a difference, but the one for the .117 is more of a straight shot thing, seeing as the gun is air or gas powered.

I think it would be a Sub-sub-machine gun.

Be an example to your men,
in your duty and in private life. Never spare yourself,
and let the troops see that you don't in your endurance
of fatigue and privation.

WANT!

Always be tactful and well-mannered and teach your
subordinates to do the same. Avoid excessive
sharpness or harshness of voice, which usually
indicates the man who has shortcomings of his own to hide.

Seen it, they also make a .22 caliber gatling gun, and a minigun.

Here's another full auto follies, featuring a milspec 12 gauge in the hands of some folks who should know far better.

Wait for the last guy. Don't know what he was trying to prove with his, well see for yourself. Epic failure? You be the judge!

I doubt there's any benefit to having a suppressive weapon to combat zombies. They just don't give a ******** about getting hit. Semi-auto .22LRs or .17HM2s might be a different story.
