Well, I just downloaded this really nifty thing called Songbird. Its sort of like iTunes, except you can get songs for free and it has a built-in internet browser. =D If you wanna check it out, go to www.songbirdnest.com
Anyways, I coincidentally can't think of any music to download, and I need some suggestions. xP
Genres I like:
Punk, Metal, Classic Rock, Techno

with that said - I love Korn, Staind, Linkin Park, Metallica, Evanescence
(I can give specific songs if you need them)

Try Radiohead. Their album Kid A is pretty awesome.

And maybe throw in a little bit of The Who and The Beatles.

Ditto. Be careful with free DL sites.

I need to go raid my play list since I can't seem to think of any songs off the top of my head aside from The Who -Baba O'Riley

I dig on some Postal Service (when I'm stuck in traffic), Modest Mouse, and El-p lately.

If im not mistaken, I believe Songbird is Mozilla? Its safe, anyways.
It allows you to download MP3s from websites, hence free music.

Anyhow, i've been listening to Mr Scruff of late, which I guess is Trip-hop, but it is ace biggrin And also, Crystal Castles who are a bit more techno^_^

Well even though you may want something more specific no one doesn't like these songs:

The Fray - How to save a life
Stone Sour - Through Glass
Life house
3 Doors Down
Incubus - Anna Molly
The calling - Wherever you will go

Else well you can go for:
Ill Nino

I am more of a japanese rock person if you ask me though so if you want help in that direction...just say it

Been some time since I've heard that one by The Who.
I love Behind Blue Eyes.
Did you know Bret Michaels had to sing Baba O'Riley on don't forget the lyrics?
My mom was singing along. gonk

Good bands to look for if you like metal, punk, techno would include Korn, Slipknot, Nonpoint, System of a Down, Nine Inch Nails ((especially if you like techno)),AFI, Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, Effiel 65 ((they're techno)), Godsmack, Rage Against the Machine, Rise Against, The Offspring, Avenged Sevenfold, and Disturbed. And you can't go wrong with the classic AC/DC and Guns n Roses.

If L's a genius...If L's a freak...

I'm guessing you've heard of Mindless Self Indulgence? xD
They're a punk techno mix thing of a band.

Personally, my favorite band ever is Placebo.
If you haven't listened to them, definitely give them a try n on

...then B's an extreme genius....then B's an extreme freak.
