"Cyrus Cyril was the leading mage and spell weaver, He was unique. He had the ability to wield all the magics. He was a genius, albeit insane, he was a signal of talent, and took it upon himself to create a utopian society of magic users. He disreguarded the normals of seperating the greater societies of people." The man in the brown robes moved.

"He took people he personally found, and took them as he desired to build this society, he was unfortunately sucsessful. He was a powerful man, but as the gods have tought us magic is illigal, and those who practice it are souless cretins."

"But times have changed the gods have deemed it is ok for races to mingle and associate. I find it disgusting, however the gods support it so I tolerate it."

A young women in the croud began to cough, you snapped your focus over to her, it was the other person. The elvan women drew a bow back from up in the rafters, took aim, and held as she saw something. The young women in the croud started to cough again, more pronounced this time, looking up to where the elvan woman was. The elvan women released the string, and the arrow peired the robed man's neck, and stuck into the floor boards. The man looked up, choking on his own blood, and colapsed, cracking his head open on the desk next to him.

There was a sudden and loud crack as the rafters broke under the Elvan women's weight. And a sudden wisp as she vanished into the outside and ran into the woods.

This is only a commen example of the violence between the churches, and the magic users of the long since dead Cyril school. There was o more outright war betweent he users and the church. However violence, and distrust remained. Often members of the church would be assassinanted in the same way.

There were so few users, but there were many people. Maybe one billionth of the population could use magic. But it was generally contained to certain areas, which was caused by the magic released hen a user was born.

Rules


1. Follow the ToS
2. While romance is allowed we all know when to take it to PM's
3. NO killing a player without that players consent or if the player has nto posted in about 10 days and has not logged in in a week, without any notice.
4. Absolutely no god modding in a fight you must take some hits, if you get shot through the arm, that arm will be less usefull, even useless possibly.
5. If you choose an elvan you must follow it's mage type and it's magic limitaions. Same goes for all races.
6. this is a semi to fulll literate RP if we can tell what you are trying to say, you're ok, unless it is for RP purposes. but all actions should be clearly defined.
7. Pm me all profiles with the title "My fate is troubled too." this is a do or die rule
8. your character can be rude and inconsiterate, even a bigot, however you the player can not be.
9. have fun.

The northern Continent: contains the homeland of the Yachtin, The Versaii mountain range, A large very tall mountain range with temperatures averaging, far belwo zero. to the east there is an expancive forest, that even goes out hundreds of feet into the water, and further north, the ice. The south carries and expancive plains area, it is arguably a desert, seeing as there are common sandstorms, weather natural or not. The west contains very hihly decayed swamplands, very dark and manythings go in and don't come out, it is rumored Crete-ah originate here.

A small land bridge is guarded by most races, and is ensured to never be destroyed, only to make sure the fighting always continues

The Southern Continent: Was damaged most by the war, the center of the larger continent is decimated. Rumor has it that a powerful Red mage was able to melt the land, and crete a portal to the under realms here. It is assumed that Naga, Succubae, Incubae, and Bledes Came to the planet from this event. Ask any of them, and they will all deny it. the south has an expancive caverns system the Bledes claim they originate from here. The north, is ravaged, wasteland nothing can live here for very long, powerful magics forgotten by the generations of today, speed up time, and cause things to die much quicker. It is also rumored here thatin the now wastelands was a glorius city that the Council of Balence used to reside in, these same rumors would have you believe that if you are near death in the area where the city was, you can see the entire city, as you die. The west, has a true grassland, Flat, pleanty of food, and peaceful, the only place a local tyrant has not taken hold. The centuars hold true to thei old customs and are among the few who do not got o quarell with enemies.

THe majority of the water form the other two continents to the Archipeligo, is very shallow and able to be crossed without worry. However during the rainy seasons, the water becomes impassable and anyone in that area is sure to be lost.

The Eastern Continent: Is really a large Archipeligo, or chain of volcanic islands. most territory is synonomis with eavh other. Rare birds and fruit, groew on each island. Tyrany has also remained out of these places, due to many odd occurences, with people disapearing, and the constant fog that seems to cover the entire area.

The Oceans: Are near impossible to navigate if the water is much deaper than seventy feet deap. Vicious armored creatures live in the water, that constantly hunt for vessels, or people to eat.

The Æther: Or the sky, is also equally impossibly to navigate due to fearsome bird like creatures that constantly hunt above the clouds. Rarely one is killed and not consumed before it hits ground. Skeletons, are usually only found in the far northern mountains frozen. They are commonly also dropped into the deadly waters.

The Ices: Is a large ice field in the north. It covers the deepest and coldest sections of the Oceans, The Ice is nearly inpenitrable from below. The ices are exceptionally large and cover an area greater than the southern continent. However due to an odd phenomena, there are severel very dangerous and unique storms that force down a piece of the ice just long enough for the Ocean creature to devour any and everything in that section.

Mage types
Pure: Spells can be summoned without use of object, or contact

Contact: Spells must be chanelled, through use of inanimate object such as a wand or a staff. spells can be chrged for a longer period of time to allow greater effectiveness, or range.

Illusion: Isn't actually magic, but more a chemist, uses different chemicals to make spells, and Telekinetic abilities allow for guidence. An illusion mage is magicless without his chemicals.

Spell intertwinng

Spells and magics can be intertwined for different effects, it is difficult to do and follow certain laws. Mages must be of the same type(pure to pure contact to contact) and both types of magic must be able to be used by both PC's.

Appearence: Dark skin tones either blue, or earth rarely black. Very thing, but dexterouss creatures, skin looks to be stretched over the bones, like a starving person, however wll fed the crete-ah is. Has a tail that can act as a third arm, much like a monkey

Common Life max: Naturally immortal, can die of illnes, or in combat, and the like.

Appearence: appearence is what is most sexually attractive to the person that sees them, and is different even if multiple people observe him her at once.
Common Life max: immortal, however, death can be acheived through not witnessing another die for near a month

Notes: succubae due to their apearence to othersare quite adept as spies, and theives, due to their ability to get out of most situations.

Screcht

Appearence: Anthromorphic lizards, apearnce ranges equal to that of lizards.

Range of weights: 50lbs to 1250lbs
Notes: weight and height are tied to the apearence of the lizard for instance, a gecko, will be short and light, while a komodo dragon, will be tall and heavy

Yachtin

Appearence: Large fur covered people, with large forarm blade extending from near the elbow, think a yeti with wolverine's claws

Languages: Under-commmon, Yachtin, Draconic
Range of heights: 12'0'' to 21'6''
Range of weights: 700lbs. to 2100lbs.
Notes: Most yachtin can not survive in warm climates, and despite theirt fearsome figure are generally calmer, and kinder

Flechs

Appearence: A flech never shows it's body but instead is a lot of faded, moth eaten robes, of color matching their magic, with pale glowing eyes of the same color.
Common Life max: Can only be killed by having their key stone removed

Languages: Elvan, Draconic, Creten, Guild
Range of heights: 6'4'' to 8'8''
Range of weights: Flechs are nearly weightless, but very solid
Notes: A keystone is where their head should be if it is seperated, for the robes for long, the Flechs will die.


Versaii

Appearence: Is to the Avareon, as dark elves are to elves, Feirce under-realmed warriors, WIngs are differing deperding on their genetic make up, form that of a large bat, to those of a crow. hands generally, have short claws at the ends of their fingers.

Magic type: Black, Red, Green, Pearl
Mage type: Pure
Languages: Draconic, Elvan, Guild, Creten
Range of heights: that of Avareon
Range of weights: that of avareon.
Notes: Versaii are almost always chaotic, and unpredictable, and always cruel natured. A mother will always protect her young, until they are able to care for them selves, in which case they become equal prey.

Fental

Appearence: Very thin humanoid creatures. Black skin, with intricate and unique details ont he skin, in color detailed to which magic is used. Body is shrouded in the type of magic specifically to which the Fental is most skilled in.

Magic type: Red, Blue, White, Green, Pearl
Mage type: Pure, Illusion
Languages: Common, Elvan, Draconic, Guild, Under-Common
Range of heights: 3'7'' to 5'1''
Range of weights: 75lbs. to 140lbs.
Notes: Fental Are very agile, and fast. They can run at up to speeds of 75mph for half a mile and conistenly at 45mph for many miles. Due to their agility, they can use the speed to it's full potentially even in extremely dence forests. Fental are generally very phisically weak, and can not carry much.

Araches


Appearence: Half human/spider hybrid creatures.
Common Life Max: 120 to 150
Magic type: Red, Green, Black
Mage type: Contact, Illusion
Languages: Common, Draconic, Guild, Yachtin
Range of heights: 7'3'' to 9'5''
Range of weights: 300 lbs. to 650 lbs.
Notes: The human torso, comes out of the spider body, six or four of the legs are dedicated to walking, while two or four arms are dedicated to manipulating objects. At least one set of arms is human, however no more than two have ever been recorded.


Dracus


Appearence: LIzard folk who have taken on the quality of dragons. They are usually heavily scaled with natural armor, and wings.
Common Life Max: immortal, unless slain
Magic type: Black, White, Red, Slate, Silver, Pearl
Mage type: Pure, Contact
Languages: Draonic, Guild, Creten, Yachtin
Range of heights: 5'4'' to 6'7''
Range of weights: 260 lbs. to 340 lbs.
Notes: Dracus are generally incapable of flight, however, in some cases of extreme duress a dracus has been known to be able to fly.


Sirus


Appearence: Human in appearnce, except for gills, and finned arms. Skin is tinted more towards the water the creature spends time in.
Common Life Max: 100 to 120
Magic type: Blue, Green, Red, Pearl, Silver
Mage type: Pure, Illusion
Languages: Common, Elvan, Guild
Range of heights: 5'7'' to 6'8''
Range of weights: 100 lbs. to 160 lbs.
Notes: Sirus are exceptional smimmers and because they have both a working set of gills and lungs, are amphibious. They suffer from a condition known as heat illness. When surrounded by natural, or unnatural heat, they become increasingly ill, if prolonged, the condition is fatal.

Under-Common: A broken spelling version of comon used by certain races, and under educated.

Yachtin: NO tags, indicated by missing of all non critical words

Elvan: Used by those with some elvan descent indicated by "<this is in elvan>"

Draconic: Spoken by more tribal races indicated by "{this is in draconic}"

Creten: another language indicated by "*this is in creten*"

Guild: Language used by criminals and the like, indicated by "(this is in guild)"

Story unique items, or events that happened befor the story.


1. Krantes are small woodland creatures who have very little nitritional value, but are extremely rare, and tastey. they are extremely hard to catch.

2. Krell blood is the blood of a cow like creature that can teleport any inanimate object inside a circle of it, to any where the drawer of the circle wishes. Negitive effects have occured by having this blood thrown as a weapon, Thisis a reaction to the high speed.

3. Cleansing was the churches order to kill on magic users on sight, and that sorcery was to be outlawed in all areas of the known world.

4. Bledes Frell is bone marrow from naturally deceased infant Bledes. It allows the drinker, for a short perod of time, to inherit the magical ability of the last person
they have touched.

5. Runes are and were the most powerful magical artifacts in the known universe, they contain the embodied spirit of the stongest mage of each magic type.

6. Cervante are large horse like creature standing nearly 12 feet tall. They have the ability to speak draconic, and to breath fire.
