So I was on tektek and I noticed that the mythrill coins are still going for way too much. A 40K coin have a low price of 70K.

It's crazy!

Part of me is almost tempted to try selling one for an inflated price just to see if people are really that stupid!

but I shouldn't.

it isn't nice.

No, that's just not nice!
It's only worth 40k, and shouldn't be sold for more.
Honestly, Gaians these days!
I say you donate it.

Beyond Birthday had the eyes of a shinigami since he was born.
He knew your name before you said it.
He knew the time of death of every person he met.

Personally, I think if they're on gaia enough to earn 70k, they should know how gaia works, or be around enough to know 40k bag= 40k.
I always assume people who buy those bags just do it to collect it. Kindof like collecting jacked up boxes, invitation letters, etc. You can't do anything with them (unless they open them, but collectors don't.) but they collect them anyways. So they're not in it for the 40k, they're in it for the collecting of all the bags.
Or something like that, I could be dead wrong though xD

...I hardly need to explain just what effect
this would have on his personality.

Do it. Extortion is a good thing. Don't tell anyone, but I do it to make money. It's too hard to make money without playing the marketplace... Sorry if anyone hates me for that, but it works, and I actively pursue any way to make money, as long as it works, and isn't against the rules. But, I would probably wait, and eventually, you could sell it for over 100k, because that item will actually get rarer and rarer, because they can't be generated, except through the BoWs, and they can be sold.

i look at it this way . . . it's in PLAIN TEXT . . . 40k mythrill coin . . . if they still wish to overpay . . . let them . . . they can read . . . they know it's not worth that much . . . but if they buy it anyhow . . . then that's what they chose . . .

Sell it overpriced. It's not mean if it's their decision to buy it.

someone agrees . . . it's their choice . . . and they can read it's only worth 40k actual gold . . .

I have to agree with Flap and Raz. If someone is willing to pay more than the item is worth, that's their problem. It's not like you're tricking them (the worth is right on the bag) and no one is forcing them to pay over price.

Ya, it also says the value in the marketplace, so you can argue the same for any store item as well.

So maybe I should try selling it for overprice and then donate it somewhere?

May as well, if it sells, you have a nice little profit. Donation is your choice.

Yeah. I'm sorry... but people who pay over price for store items are either blind, idiots, or mule account.

I think that I would keep it being a sneaky hoarder.
I think people are buying them at 70k because they are collectors.
It isnt really immoral to sell it like that it is just how the virtual economy works!

sell away and then buy something nice for yourself.
You've managed to hold on to the coins til now.
Why not treat yourself?
I got some and I blew it all the very next day.

What can I say?
I'm not good with virtual money.
