HELP!!!

I just went to play the sims2 and it told me "Please insert origanal disc, not back up." Eh!? What does that mean? I just played it this morning and it was fine!

And yes I'm using the right disc, disc 1 of my latest expansion pack.

Uhm... never mind? I was on the phone to my boyfriend complaining that it didn't work. My exact words were.. "My computer must be jealous, cause I've been playing Lego Star Wars for the past few days... I'm sorry!" Now I said that last part as I was double clicking the sims icon one last time... And well wouldn't you know the sims started! eek <---- my face... Needles to say.. *huggles computer* It has personality! heart

Though I would still like to kno why this all happened...

The closest I've come to this was being told that I was using a fake disk or something when I wasn't. I just double-clicked the shortcut again and the game ran fine.
