I seem to be reading the quick easy stuff right now. Finished "The Salem Witch Tryouts" by Kelly McClymer. Not a bad read. I got a bit annoyed with the parts where she texts her friend. I don't like all the shortening of words that happens in many text conversations. I can see how it fits in with the characters, but I just find it obnoxious.
This book is about a teenage witch who's family has been living among the normal populace. Her mum decides they need to start going to a school for witches, but the main character is far behind because she's had no practice at magic. I read it pretty quickly and it has humorous moments. I might see if I can find the other book by this author that's mentioned in the front cover.
*scratches head* How do I keep ending up reading about paranormal cheerleaders? Wonder if this is going to be a new trend in young adult paranormal novels.

D: I hope paranormal cheerleaders don't become common. That'd be annoying~
Also, you reminded me of an author I wanted to make a thread for. <.<
Honestly, this book doesn't seem like one I'd like to read. n.n"
