So, in the past few months I've stopped really caring about MC's and EI's. Mainly due to a lack of gold, and I just don't really care for the items.
So, here I am, months later, with a tiny hoard sitting in my gold bucket thing. And I'm afraid to use it xD Seriously, I'll be looking at my wishlist, smile and think "lulz, i can by u nao" (excluding the ninja band, nitemare bustier, etc XD )and just hit the back button and continue lurking. I'm just petrified that I'll spend it, then we'll get some amazing shop update or EI that will be in the 100k+ price range.
Because that's happened before D:>

Main point, how have price increases in the market place, and just in general, affected your gaian life? Beyond the topic of "I spendz moar and savez moar", do you wait off on things you'd usually buy in order to save for some unknown release that may never come?
Say screw it and buy like wild? Be disappointed later? Etc?

Unless I was saving up for something in particular, I'd buy what I wanted.

I say: Buy what you want and keep aside money just in case a new item does come out.

invest in things you can sell later on. Buy low sell high!

Buy the things you like. You can't really equip your gold on your avi and you can always get more, so you might as well spend it if there's something you really want and you can afford it.

Lulz, I guess I'm the only gold hoarder :P
Though, I actually bought a maids headband thing o;
(Watch, something comes out that's 3k higher than the gold I have.)

I've never been much for investing. I've done it with a few items and had luck with it, but now...eh. The whole marketing/exchanging thing grew old pretty fast.
(When to buy, sell, buy in bulk, sell later, etc.)

Id say go buy some stuff. by the time we get another update you could earn back most of the gold, and its better than waiting around and never buying anything. Invest in some collectibles that you like, so you can use them and then sell them in the future^_^

I usually end up gradually building up my gold, then blowing it all on one item. xD

When it comes to EIs and MCs I buy early and if they disappointed me I just keep them. That way I can have something to sell when I want something else. If you think you'd like it, then go for it. If you end up not liking it, you can sell it for something else you want.
