CAS screen help

A friend of mine installed one and it reallyyyy messed up her game.

Is there any special way to install them?

I don't know anything about them, but I told her that I would find out for her.

The best place to check would be MTS2. They have them for download and have tutorials on creating your own so I'm sure they'd know if there was a specific way to install them.

I've just been and read through an entire tutorial here> http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=180469
It says that the CAS file only needs to be placed in the downloads folder.
Does the one your friend used have any custom content in it or use stuff from EPs that she doesn't own? If so that could cause problems.

Hm. I don't know, but the next time I go over to her place I'll have to have a look-see at what she downloaded.
