Next year, I want to study abroad for a semester in college. Specifically, I want to go to England. I was just wondering if there's anything I should know. I would enjoy information from both those living in Enlgland, those who have visited England, and anyone else who thinks they can help.
P.S. I was also wondering if stores in England ever sell American footballs or baseballs. biggrin

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder...

We sell footballs and baseballs. What's the difference between American ones and English? sweatdrop

...although it can be distorted.

English "footballs" are what Americans call "soccer balls". A soccer ball is round and is played on a field where only the goalie(keeper) can use his hands, or when a player is making a throw-in. An American football is what is commonly called a football in America, and is more of an elipse. Kind of like a rugby ball, but smaller and the ends come to more of a point.

P.S. I didn't think people played baseball in England.
