When you see/meet someone, what qualifies them as 'goth' in your mind?
is it the look?
the music?
the mindset?
Could someone dress 'goth', but not be considered one?
or for those who believe it's the music...
If someone listens to the music, but doesn't dress the part?
I've been wondering what other people think, because I have a growing interest in the music and culture, but I don't dress like the steriotypical goth. People laugh when i hint at 'going goth', but most of the people were i live think goth means hot topic and marilyn manson and greasy black hair. But others say i am. Which obviously means there's two different meanings.
What do you think?
