Negi frowned slowly, pulling his mask down more firmly over his face as he looked around these new lands. How he ended up here, he really wasn't sure. But now that he was here, he may as well make the most of it.
A slow smirk spread across the bunny's lips, and he sunk small claws into the dirt below him in his eagerness. This land looked far more interesting than the rogue lands. Surely he could find a bit of fun here?
Using those little claws, and his hold on the ground, he launched himself forward, scurrying deeper into the land in search of other creatures. His little birdy had, sadly, not been strong enough to handle him. While the death of the bird was unfortunate, atleast it's bones had gone to good use.
That smirked turned into a disturbingly unstable grin at the thoughts of his last 'toy'. He would just have to find a tougher creature this time.

Nyota rather enjoyed exploring the lands and finding prey-beasts to kill, but tonight he was in for a surprise. He sat, bone jewelry gleaming in the sparse light of the moon, and his ears twitched slightly. Something was approaching... Fast too.
A grin split raggedly across his maw, and he readied himself, crouching low in the grasses and waiting... In the dark of the night, he blended right in...

Blood red eyes narrowed slowly as he hit the high grass, though he didn't bother to slow his running. Sneaking about wasn't his style. He continued his path, barreling recklessly through the grass, unable to see more than a few inches in front of him as the grass parted with his body.
But soon enough... Those eyes were going wide in surprise as they met a shock of gold. There was no way to stop.. There was no time to turn.
He lowered his head quickly so his skull helm would take most of the force, plowing right into the dark blue lion cub head first with a growl.

Nyota nearly leapt out of his fur in shock, turning to stare incredulous at the rather hard thing that had barreled head-first into him... And then he saw the skull on a rather small bunny... He bristled, remembering vividly the fight with a full grown hare that had earned him the scars on his nose and chest.
"What is wrong with you!" he growled, swatting at the lapine absently...

He growled again, hopping back a few places as he eyed the lion. Nowhere near as easy to handle as his previous prey...
" Me? What's wrong with you!? Who sits crouched in the middle of a field, eh, mangy cat? " Perhaps he was inviting trouble. Death. But what was life without a bit of thrill? He'd never taken on a lion.
He inhaled deeply, before sticking his little pink tongue out at the lion. " Buuuuuu~ " He spared a smirk to the feline before he turned, vanishing into the glass. " Mangy little cat, got a problem with me? Then catch me. " He called back, the grass shuffling around him as he took off again.

And the chase was on! Just as quickly as the bunny had started off, Nyota leapt into action, tearing after the small hare with all the speed he possessed. This hare wasn't nearly as fast as Kutulia had been, but then again, she had been older... And she knew danger when she saw it.
It wasn't long before he was right at the hare's tail, one paw reaching out to swat at the legs of the rabbit in an attempt to trip it...

The lion may be faster... But with his much larger body, it would be very difficult to take sharp turns.
Negi let out a wild laugh when the paw grazed him, small body jerking as he turned, bowling off to the left to leave the lion to catch up to him again. " So close, so close!! "

Unfortunately, Negi was grossly underestimating Nyota. He dug his claws into the earth and took a rather sharp turn, losing maybe a foot or two of distance from the bunny. Another bound or two saw the cub standing over the bunny, and he quickly pinned the small creature to the ground, pressing a claw close to his throat.
"Fool, you never should've come here. Demons walk in this land..." Nyota started, narrowing his eyes at the rabbit for a long time before lifting the avian skull from the hare's head. "You shouldn't wear bones unless you killed the creature yourself, or they are gifted to you."

He huffed as he was caught, and pinned down on his back. The lions were better than he thought... It was rather surprising considering the unflattering things he'd heard about the predators. Perhaps they did indeed have a brain, despite popular rumor?
His eyes narrowed as his mask was removed, but despite the situation, he gave the other cub a haughty smirk. " I did kill the little thing. Poor poor birdy. Just wouldn't handle my games. He was warned not to get cut... But he didn't listen. "
The smirked widened slowly to that full blown grin. " He bled on me... So I opened him up to bath in his blood. I would have looked odd.. With just a few red spots in my fur. I do so love to look my best.. "

"Is that so? Well, aren't you a little demon..." Nyota purred, plopping the skull back on the hare's face as his own grin widened. "I am Nyota'angavu, first demon born into the Aikanaro'hini..."

" Hmmm? " His head tilted, ears perking up in curiosity. " A whole pride of demons is it? How very interesting, Nyota.'angavu. "
He shifted under the lion, eyes moving down to the paw that still held him. " Only fair. A name for a name. I am called Negi Mehet. If you'd be so kind as to let me go... Perhaps I'll grant you a wish? " He offered, with a strangely cheerful smile.

"I'll set you free if you swear on your life to do my bidding. I could use a small creature like you... Less noticeable, you could slip into places easier than I could," Nyota purred, his eyes glowing darkly. Yes, he could use Negi at his side...

" You're bidding? " He asked curiously, eyeing the lion, before slowly grinning up at him. " I wont be a minion.. But, I wouldn't mind bringing about misery with you... "
He let out a thoughtful hum, before nodding slightly. " Very well. You have my word. "

"Then let us terrorize non-demons together!" Nyota said, smirking and lifting his paw from Negi's chest. This was definitely the start of a beautiful relationship.
