I've you've read the book then you should know. :/

But, Billy doesn't like the Cullens because they're vampires. He's worried that they'll break their treaty and turn a human into a vampire.
Theres more but I haven't read the book in a long time so I don't remember.

As I seem to remember, Charlie just didn't like Edward because of the whole Bella-ran-off-to-Italy to rescue him BS. But he liked Alice because he thought she was trustworthy.

hmm....not completely true.......

charlie dosnt like Edward because of when
he left her without so much as a warning.
and sent her into spiraling depression.

but running off to italy for 3 days didnt help.
