Eh, I've heard better from them. All of Dragonforce's music is ridiculously similar, though.

Dragonforce is actually alright live. I'm guessing no one else here has actually seen them live. Of course, I only see them when there's a different band I like more headlining.

I've heard of Blind Guardian and their probably one of the better power metal/speed metal whatever you want to call them type bands i've heard. Iced earth is still the best though.

I've actually heard DF live they were at ozzfest 06, and they still sucked even then. They couldn't stay at the same rhythm, they had missing notes all over the place, and it could have just been an off day for Theart but he seriously couldn't sing. A keytar in metal....Think about it seriously. Herman is pretty talented i've heard things by him by himself, but everything else is just so 'lets play scales really fast.'

As for slipknot I have old roots with them but psychosocial is just a shitty song. All hope is lost is ok though...
