So, I'm sure we've all done this before:
Install the Sims 1 or 2, play it a bunch of times, then (for whatever reason) un-install it, then install it again.
Well, I did that recently.
I haven't played the games in awhile (I own both Sims 1 and Sims 2), so I just un-installed them.
I plan on re-installing them on Sunday, July 13th (lucky numbers, 7 & 13. I have OCD when it comes to video/computer games).
HOWEVER, the upper CD tray in my tower does not work anymore. It's completely jammed and I cannot get it open.
I was wondering, will I be able to play the games using my LOWER CD tray?
I would try it out, but the whole OCD thing; I don't want to put the games in UNTIL 7/13.
Please, help?

Just Because I Say So Yeah, it can, actually.
I tried it on my own, like, two months ago. But if it doesn't, then your computer has serious disabilities. Cure: Take it for a check-up. wink
BTW - shouldn't this be in the Question thread?
Thanks alot.
And sorry, I must've overlooked the thread.
EDIT: I actually got my upper CD drive to open. I just inserted a thin sewing needle into the small hole near the "eject" button, and manually ejected it. It pretty much works now, cause I opened it about.....50 times after that, and tested a few other games with it.
But your advice certainly is helpful in cause this happens again, in case the drive will no longer manually eject.
