Trent and the boys have done it again.
A Google Earth .kml file has been released with tour location info.
Friday, it was discovered that there were locations with question marks and secret messages.
Further investigation revealed that tickets to upcomming shows were hidden in these spots.
Rumor has it, the map will be updated with more secret spots as the tour progresses.

"The band posted a file to its website with concert tour locations a couple weeks ago that visitors could download and open in the Google Earth software. Last Friday, a mysterious place marker appeared on the map, labeled “under the rock,” that pointed to a location in Burbank. Beneath that rock was an envelope giving the lucky discoverers entree to the show."

•There's a bit of a hoopla going on amongst the obsessed fans at Echoing the Sound. A sprinkle of jealousy here, a dash of superiority there.

Some fans are complaining that Trent has made the hunt too public.
One member posts:
"It was one thing to post it on their personal blog but that kinda sucked to broadcast it (to) all of Los Angeles. Was a little more fun when this was an insider fan thing... oh well, some people always have to spoil the fun."

Other members are concerned about the validity of one user's second hand account. Nympholept claims the LA Times blog does not fit her friend's testimony about the events in Griffith Park.

The snippit was nestled between a bit about whether or not Lance Bass should dance with a male or female partner and a report on Snoop Dogg's upcomming track on Johnny Cash Remixed. Maybe the fans have a point?

According to Strangeglue, the hidden tickets are for a secret show in LA on the 19th of July. Tough luck for all the fans located outside that area. C'mon Trent, show the rest of us some love. I'm heartbroken.
