Okay, I'm Not The Brightest...

As the title says, I'm not the brightest, but I always thought I had the pronunciation for all the words correct! ACK! >.< Well, now I'm curious, I heard someone say coven the other day, but it wasn't co-ven like I say it, it was kuh-vin, so which one is it? Have I seriously been pronouncing them wrong? I know this isn't exactly an "OMG! I can't believe I didn't realize that!" sort of thing, but... yeah, I'm seriously curious now if that's how it's pronounced and if my other pronunciations are right.

Esme = Ez-May
Carlisle = Car-Lie-El
Emmett = Eh-Met
Lauren Mallory = Lar-En Muh-Lore-Ee
Aro Volturi = Eh-Row Voul-Chur-Ee
Caius = Say-Us
Quil Ateara = Kwil Uh-Teer-Uh
Ben Cheney = Ben Chee-Knee
Eleazar = El-Ee-Zahr
Angela Weber = An-Gell-Uh We-Bur

Anyone else realize they have troubles with pronouncing some of the names or pronounce the names differently than I do?

To be honest, it really depends on where you live in the world. There are many diffrent ways people can say a word. (I realized this after taking speech as a college course.

Caius = Kay-us (similar to chaos but different X D' )

Agreed.
People from different countries pronounce things differently. There's no right or wrong, just pronounce stuff the way you want to. Hay, as long as everyone understands what your talking about who cares?
