When people give you a low rate just cause they dislike a certain color you have on your avvy.
Like one time I had pink and brown and black and asked for a rate,
And the person was all "Well, it's a good avvy, but I personally hate the colors pink and brown. Pink is too girly and brown is just gross. 3//10"

we can't do anything about bias rates :(
some ppl just can't help but let personal
preference interfere with their rate.. neutral
the latest biased rate i got was on my
'scary badass' avi, the rater didn't like
dark colors so i got a 2/10.. lol

I hate the stigma in AT about how it is overused.
Sure, it may be overused in other forums, but not in AT.
People are always downrated for using it, making it a rarity.

that's my philosophy on the matter, too. o uo
i love red and black myself.

no one seems to pay attention to the /real/ overused
color combos, like leaf green/tan/gold/black, black/gold,
and other such things. they're all too busy hating red
and black to notice that their color combo is just as, if
not more overdone.

and then there's those people who are like
LOL ALL COLOR COMBOS ARE OVERDONE IF U
THINK ABOUT IT. LOL.

...if i haven't seen them, they're not overdone. :3

I'm actually a fan of personal bias in rates... having bias against certain colors is a bit extreme... But at least people like that don't pretend to like your avatar when they really don't.

I mean... When it comes down to it, You are asking their opinion.
