Which is better?

I can't decide if I should pre-order my book from Amazon or reserve a copy at my Borders. My store is having a midnight release party for it, so I know I'd get it that day. If I ordered it from Amazon, would I still get it on the 2nd?

If I were you, I'd pre-order at Borders. At least that way you're guaranteed to get it on time. Besides that, what kind of release party would it be without your own copy then and there?

Yeah, I wouldn't take my chances on buying it on Amazon. Shipping days vary. Besides, what's the point of going to a release party at a book store if you're not buying the book there? At least at Borders, you can get it that night instead of waiting for the daytime.

I wanted to ask this same question. I already pre-ordered mine on Amazon, but I am going to a release party at Walden books. I regret it a little bit now because I want my copy with everyone else.

I did read an e-mail from Amazon that I'd get BD delivered by the 2nd. Hopefully, it's true....

im going to my b&n breaking dawn party,
so awhile back, i pre-ordered it on the
internet but i asked the guy at the store
recently, and since i didnt reserve one, i
was going to have to wait until the book
came to my doorstep a few days later.
now i have to buy two. i WILL NOT wait
any longer than i have to.

so take my advice, reserve your copy.

I agree -- it'd be torture to see everyone else with their copies and not have one myself. Yay for Borders! Also, yay for mothers who are willing to drive you there XDD <333
