Hi everyone! I'm back from my vacation trip. We went to the Channel Islands, which was cool, because even though they're only a few hours away, I've never gone. The place was beautiful, lots of cliffs and stuff. Oh, and I went down to LA and got my visa so the French will let me into their country! Hooray! Even though getting the paperwork together for a French visa is nearly impossible, I did it.
And now I'm back. How was the guild without me?

Yeah, Bagel, my family's been very busy this summer. We're going to have a lot of changes in our family starting this August (eeep! Tomorrow!) so we only had a week-long vacation instead of the normal two weeks, and we didn't go very far. It was pretty laid-back.

End of August. For a year. I'm an exchange student! And I'm planning to not get on Gaia very much, so after August I'm not going to be around at all. But I want to immerse myself as much as possible in the culture and language, so I really learn.

Too many... conjugations tho. xD Omigosh yes! I got a book of verbs to brush up on my French, and there's like four different verb tenses we didn't even COVER in the three years I took French. @mongoose: *purrs* I'm back to bumming now that I'm home.

With a family. It's part of Rotary Youth Exchange. I'm sort of freaking out at this point, because it'll be so foreign. But I've always wanted to try a different life, and this is it.
