Charms

Charms is a branch of magic like Transfiguration but fair more easier. Charms is a required subject for all students in their first five years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The spells learned in Charms class are taken from textbooks "The Standerd Book of Spells" series. Students are taught specific wand movements and proper pronounciation in this class and often students partner up in class to experiment on one another.

Erin sighed and walked in to the Charms classroom. She bit her lip and sat down in a seat, her bag on her table. She sighed softly and decided to put her head down on her bag, to take a small nap, since she was early.

Lacey. Louise. Taylor.



Lacey ran, ran like no tomorrow down the practically empty hallway. She was going to be late! This was horrible, her first day at Hogwarts and she was going to be late! Not her first day back her very first class, her very first official day at Hogwarts! Lacey had only recently turned eleven, and was ecstatic to find her invitation in the mail. Her younger brother however was still too young, so she was alone. The good news was, she got sorted into Hufflepuff, where her sister was, the bad news was she never got a chance to talk to her sister. And now! She was late. Lacey’s two blonde pigtails swished around in the air because of the speed that she was running at. In fact, she about ran into a wall. That was lovely. And honestly, she wasn’t exactly sure where she was going! Eventually she managed to find the Charms classroom, and luckily the professor wasn’t too harsh on her. Considering she was a first year. She apologized then sat in one of the empty seats. A frown painted her face as she placed her book bag on the ground. She’d actually decided not to sit next to someone else, she wasn’t in the mood to socialize for once. One of the only things that could upset her was screwing up that majorly. She sighed and open her charms book up to the page her professor had told her. Quietly she began reading.

Lacey fiddled with her quill as she waited for the class to end, in the mean time, she stared out the window; day dreaming if you will. Charms wasn’t her favorite class, then again, none of them really were. She hadn’t found a class that she absolutely loved. And being a bit naïve, she though that she would never ever find one she loved. Unlike her sister whom was practically obsessed with magical creatures and animals. She sighed heavily, and dozed a bit. Lacey was so far in on sleep that she didn’t notice the fact that class had just ended. She awoke to a loud smack of a ruler, on her desk. Horror stricken she jumped up, grabbed her bag, apologized rather shakily, then left. More like ran, she was told to slow down many times. Her classes seemed to all go like that on the first day of Hogwarts classes. She slumped to her common room then to her dormitory.

Attention!!!

I have moved the date to Sunday, September 8th
Time to wake up after few hours of sleep thanks to late night celebrations!
Hopefully this somewhat of a fresh start will get everything back up and running
