it took me awhile, but i realized why Lelouch doesn't tell anyone the whole as to why he does what he does.

The thing is...What's the point. It would make him look even worse if he came up of excuses. "Yeah, it was an accident. I didn't know my Geass was on" To someone who barely even knows the existence of the Geass itself. How believable would that be?

So he might as well go with the flow if that's what he started with.
