Theres a myth that's been spread around about Carol Ann and The movie Poltergist. The myth is old i know but indulge me. I wanna know if you think it holds "any" truth to it or it's just a mere coincidence of events offset by speculation and superstition.
When filming the gruesome "swimming pool full of dead people" scene, the crew used actual corpses (Or so is said...). A series of unfortunate events followed. Tragically several people involved with the production died suddenly. Dominique Dunne, the 22-year-old actress who played the eldest daughter of the haunted family, was murdered by her boyfriend soon after the movie was released. Heather O'Rourke, who played Carol Ann, died suddenly of a septic infection. Two other actors died shortly after.
I know you might not care either way but like the title says it's just a random poll and question you dont have to put down anything or be a jerk. If you dont like the question dont answer it, It's that simple...

I don't even believe stories about possessions etc. I'm a true skeptic at heart and am very cynical. I just wanted an unbaised opinion to clarify what i wanted to know. Thank you for your honesty and open mindedness.

I don't even believe stories about possessions etc. Probably the studio knew that such gruesome tales would help promote their movie, so they really did fill the pool with corpses, and arranged to have the actors killed off mysteriously in ways that couldn't be traced back to the producers. It's a brilliant marketing scheme!

Universe puts us in places where we can learn. They are never easy places, but they are right. I think it could be a coincidence XD Wherever we are, it's the right place .. and the right time. Pain that sometimes comes is part of the process of constantly being born.
