I do have to say, I'm happy to see this thread, yay for Sound of a Girl Hatching! Doubt is a good manga. I have been hooked o,0 It's disturbing indeed, and I am hoping its not going to pull a Saw on us all... Waiting for chapter 14 is killing me! The mask is off and of course the last current chapter ended! ARGH >,<

By the by, for those interested, I can share the fun that is Doubt. PM me, I'll give you a link to get it. I thought about posting a link to the site, but a bunch of the series that the scans group (SnoopyCool) I download from do are VERY MA17+ rated series, so I decided not to do that. wink

I also was thinking about making a thread for alternative kinds of manga, stuff you will never see in states published in English... Maybe I will. This was going to be one manga I talked about.

It's a good series. As I mentioned before, think Saw as a manga, only with just high schoolers basically, and you about have it... well not exactly, but its one of the better comparisons I can think of. It's about a group of random high schoolers who meet up, because they play a game called Rabbit Doubt, which the tag-line for is "The Liar Must Die." The jist of the game is that there is a group of Rabbits, and amongst them is a Wolf, and the Rabbits are trying to find the Wolf before the Wolf kills them all.

Anyway, the kids all hang out, but at the end of the night after they get to know each other a bit, they are each knocked out, or drugged. They awake in a very creepy building. That's where the game really begins. Everything is locked, and one of them is dead. Read for more!

Be warned though about Doubt, ye youngins, it's violent. Not the most graphic around, but... um... its not totally tame. People get maimed in it. There is death, and suspense, a severed hand and a head too. That is not in any way a spoiler haha. It's a semi-horror, but mostly a suspense story.

yay i am glad some one else has read it. I know if the next chapter doesn't come out, i think i might cry. I really shouldn't like it so much, if you saw me you would understand how creepy it is, short cute little 16 year old girl who looks like she doesn't even no what death or sex it. that's kind of besides the point see as i do know what those things are, and i love the "disturbing manga's"

But anyways the only thing negative i can say about the manga it that i never believed it to be one of the kids, i wish they out the stop light on them more. Of course it could still be one of them, but which one was only pretending to be dead?

i would agree though the manga it's for the faint of heart, but it isn't as bad as some of the stuff you can run it to either.

Well like I said, if the mangaka pulls a Saw on us, I will be very upset.

However, I have no clue how long the series is even going to be. So far it's only two volumes, and most series run an average of 16 I believe it has been said, with the popular stuff running on to like 30+ easily. But yeah... Now that they might finally have figured out who is doing it... I'm way excited to see if things go back to normal life and then start up again, or what's going to happen! There has got to be a ton more coming up...

they should be more to the conclusion to this one, i think at least there funerals or like removal of the game from the internet. it would be interesting to see what happens way afterwards, or maybe the one the survives becomes the next killer... it's not like that hasn't been done before but it would still be interesting, either way i hope there is some sort of twist in the end.

your welcome ^_^ soon i will make a thread for more of the manga that i read, umm but for some reason they only manga i can come up with at the moment are all by yuki kaori and this one called deadman wonderland. Though all are really good!

Oh I'm hoping there will be a twist, like I said, two volumes seems awfulllllly short for any kind of manga, so things have got to go on... but... I'll be interesting to see how, seeing as we're pretty much down to a one on one situation now.

well i just finished a 20 volume manga and thats about 3,600 pages so yeah to volume would be short, i really wonder about who the killer could be though, i mean i hope if it is short that the killer tries it all together.

IF SnoopyCool would ever release it we could find out >,< Although, if you read back through it, every time you see The Wolf, it seems very much male... However, with only 3 male characters, one visually confirmed to be one of the dead... argh >,< !

Well... give me a month, and I will post about Kare Kano... 21 volumes, watched the anime, but really was just not enough for the story.... I wanna know more >_<

Boooooo still now Doubt 14 yet from SnoopyCool for another week... and it's been almost a whole month since the last chapter!

And now I do. Chp 14 is out! Surprising. It was among my theories though, so, sadly it wasn't completely a WTFOMGWOW! kind of twist. Still... its interesting =D Cause its also not the one I was worried about it being... hehe wink
