So, I've always liked a few of the classics, not for power though.. Jigglypuff, Golduck, and Sandshrew have always been my favorites of the series.. but I see your point with the food supply + dino + flying combo.

Thats why Jigglypuff, Golduck, etc. fail. They have terrible stats, unlike the godly Tropius.
