How about some folklore stories from far and near?

How about some urban legends?

Let's start off with a story that I missed when it was in the wild. It is not factual, yet because of the idea, people wanted to believe it.

Was the legendary children's show host Fred Rogers a marine sniper before he became a TV educator?
