So there's a thread up today about things that made your day today. I'd love to participate, but sadly, my day started off shitty and just...ehh...

So. For those of you who have nothing to contribute in the other thread, come here to share.

So today, I decided to go job hunting again (I've been searching for a job since June. ~_~). I got outside the house at 10ish in the morning and there's a hurt crow on the border of mine and my neighbors lawn.

I went over to see if the bird was dead, but it tried to hobble away from me, obviously unable to fly very well.

I picked the poor thing up, and it's wings were in strange positions, and I walk back to my house, and up to my mom's bedroom window, and ask her if I should take the crow to the vet.

She instantly starts yelling at me: "PUT THAT THING DOWN. GO WASH YOUR HANDS, YOU CAN'T TAKE IT TO THE VET BECAUSE YOU'LL HAVE TO PAY!"

And I was like: ;__; "Mom, it's hurt... I think it's wings are broken."

"WASH YOUR HANDS I'M CALLING ANIMAL CONTROL"

"Mom, Animal Control will kill it..."

"YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE LOOKING FOR A JOB. WASH YOUR HANDS."

So she comes outside to see the bird, and it freaks out and tries to fly away. It flew across the street, but was so delirious it flew into a wall and fell back on the ground. t-t

"WASH YOUR HANDS, NICOLE. IT COULD BITE YOU."

"Mom, it has a beak, how could it bite me? It's too hurt to bite me."

"WASH YOUR HANDS AND GO TURN IN JOB APPLICTIONS."

I drove five miles to go turn in my job application and cried all the way there.

I was gone for at least 40 minutes, and when I came back I felt even worse because the bird was still there, lieing near the wall. I got it some water, but then it just hopped into a bush. t__t

For about the past week I've been popping motrin like my life depends on it.
I'm getting my wisdom teeth out soon, but somehow one is growing right up through what is apparently a very sensitive part of my gum which I also happen to bite every time I clench my teeth. I can't even eat without that and some anbesol.

- One of my friends told me another friend was using me and I cried. I don't know why I bought it though.
- A girl that I did stuff with on my birthday and was really into stopped talking to me.

*sigh* I don't have good luck with girls...in any way apparently.

My mom was served papers this morning. We're getting sued by our bank because they wouldn't take the money we owed.. We tried paying it months ago and they wouldn't accept it.

Hopefully we'll get out of it without being sued

HEY. I'm contributing, 'cause well. BEFORE i had too much caffine I was emotastic. :D

Well, reading something, and realizing that's going to be me. That's going to be the pathetic waste. Yeah, that kinda set me off a bit.
Then reading some more, and thinking about my past, which really, didn't help. it made me feel like I was never going to keep a friend ever in my life, let alone be able to hold down a relationship.
Then I tried to talk to someone. 'I thought it was important. i'm going back to beed'.
I cried, because I really like that someone...
Then I wrote in my journal, and the fact that my mom ignored me, and pretended like I asn't there, like I wasn't crying.
That sort of killed me.
Later on, I was talking to this guy, who used to be like the only guy i ever wanted to talk to, he was that cool.
Yeah, he got mad at me, and said that he hated it when I did that. And it seemed like that's all I did. And that he might hate me just in general.
And then endless thinking about life.

One of the girls at my work is going through some personal struggles, and decided to skip work without any warning or heads up today.
So I got stuck with having to stay an extra two and a half hours to compensate.

I wish she'd get her head out of her a** and realize how childish it is to drag her personal problems into the workplace, and dump them on everyone else.
She's been in a bad mood lately, so she's been rude, which is also a pain in the a**.

My therapist told me that.
There are friends you have for a certain amount of time, they serve a purpose, and then you move on,
and then there are friends you have for a lifetime.

Finding out that my schoolmate's body was pulled out of the Mississippi River. neutral
