-Uh oh...-
Manda
It had been quite some time now since Chia had left 'home' and started wandering more and more often. Ayo never really seemed to notice how long she was gone, anyway. So what did it matter? Apparently, it didn't much matter to -him-. And somehow, that stung, though the lioness wouldn't admit such. Instead, she filled her time with exploring, poking her nose into places and making new friends - trying to get her mind off the large red male. Today, she'd skirted around the edge of a huge jungle, wandering into it for a few minutes at a time, only to wander out again. It looked like she was on the edges now... but she could see some kind of mountain top sticking up over the savanna, and turned her paws in that direction. Hey, it looked interesting, so why not?

Mora'era was currently doing her job. Patrolling. Scouting the edges of the pride was part of her duty, since so many of their pride members were younglings. Had to make sure that not too many of the little rascals wandered off! With a contented rumble, she slunk through the grass, her sleek form unhindered. The demoness looked properly ferocious in her morbid attire. She reveled in her appearance, as finally...finally, her outside matched her soul. Demon she was, demon she would always be. Blood-red eyes sniffed the wind, and she smirked. Ah...a newling had wandered into their lands. Time to give a proper greeting. Pattering as silently as she could, she made her way around behind Chiamaka, and then she made a rumbling noise, low in her throat, rising to her full height. "Hello, dear...whereever are you going?"
Manda
Chia hadn't really been paying that much attention to her surroundings, as she hadn't met any others in a long while now. So when there was a sudden rumble and a voice behind her, she jumped, spinning around in a startled sort of fashion. Then she blinked at the lioness in front of her, eyes widening. What in the.... why did she have those -things- all over her? "I-I ... was just going to look at that mountain over there..?"
+Sephiros Immortal+
Oh now that was just rich. "Not the wisest of choices, my dear, unless you're a demon, which I don't think you are...that place is sacred...sacred to my kind, you have no right to tread this grounds." Her tone was threatening in the very syrupy sweetness of her voice, altogether too pleased about this situation. She hadn't had fun in a while, and now that she was fully accepted as a demon, she had no reason to hold back.
Manda
"Uhm," Chia said ingeniously, backing away and flattening ears. She'd never really come up against someone truly -vicious- before and she was really at loss as to what to do. "I-I'm sorry?" she tried, ducking her head. "I'll leave right now if you want, I promise!"
+Sephiros Immortal+
Mora'era grinned, bearing fangs at the other. "I daresay that we must teach you a lesson first, to ensure that you never want to come back, dearie..." She purred, hindquarters bunching before she leapt at the other, claws outstretched, aiming a swipe at the lioness' shoulder. Oh no, not a friendly one at all, was Mora'era.
Manda
"But I wo----!" Chia started to insist, but was cut off when the other leapt at her like that. Scrambling backward, the purple lioness reared back, trying clumsily to meet Mora's attack and defend herself. The instinct was there, but with no practice... it was hard to really -do- very much against the other.

She followed up with a few more swipes, quickly aimed. The assassin wasn't out to kill the lioness, simply damage her. A dead creature could learn no lessons. With a rumble, she darted forward again, aiming for hindquarters. She WOULD inflict damage until she -let- the other flee, unless Chia was exceptionally lucky.
Manda
Chia yelped as several of those strikes hit - one of them landing right across her sensitive nose. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" she cried, backing up now, trying again to retreat. She hadn't -meant- to make anyone mad!
+Sephiros Immortal+
She laughed again, softly this time. "Oh dear, dearie me...then you'd better get moving little girl." With a growl, she charged forward, sliding so that her claws aimed solely for legs. If she made the lioness limp away, all the better, she'd remember the lesson with every step. She might have turned the other into a slave, but for some reason, her vibrant purple annoyed Mora, too demonlike a color, and yet so very timid a lioness.
Manda
Chia yelped again at that, though, and actually managed to somehow leap -over- the other's attack, landing atop the demoness more by accident that anything else. She wasn't stupid, though, and started clawing at Mora's shoulders and back for all she was worth. She didn't know, after all, that the other intended to let her go...
+Sephiros Immortal+
Mora hissed, twisting with a snarl to flop onto her back, and thusly, onto Chia. "Don't try that with me..." She was a demon, she'd been trained to fight, and though not quite like this, her armor was a very good weapon when borne by her own weight, pressing into Chia's body.
Manda
Ow ow ow, crap! Chia wriggled beneath the other lioness, making rather pitiful noises of pain as she tried, once again, to just -get away-. "I wasn't trying anything!" she protested, though she knew it would do no good.
+Sephiros Immortal+
Carefully, she rolled off , dragging her claws along the other's hindquarters as she did so. "Then go..." She hissed, "Go and don't invade our lands again, or you might never leave them." There was a subtle purr to her words, still fully in control, and she knew it.
Manda
Chia cried out at that - already trying to get out from under those claws. She hadn't meant to make anyone mad, she didn't know this land belonged to a pride! Turning tail now that she knew she wasn't going to be chased - the lioness limped away, whimpering. Maybe... Ayo ... would actually be around when she got back this time.
