Re-arranging : )

So ... yesterday I got bored and decided to re-arrange my room. My desk used to be by my window in a nook that I had over there. It looked kinda silly because it's a corner desk shoved in there, blocking the window. So I moved it into a corner and it looks SO much better. I love having natural light flowing into my room again.

Today is my 18th birthday : ). My parents surprised me by turning a part of my basement into an art studio. They also supplied me with an easel, paint, canvases, brushes and all the works. I'm really happy. Normally my birthday wouldn't be this awesome except for the fact that they are super happy I'm going to college so they wanted to provide me a space to work. I'm going to go for Graphic Design, I can't wait. I start in Jan.

I like sunlight when it comes through my window. I hate going outside and having it burn me or blind me. And I hate hot weather. But when I'm inside in air conditioning and it peaks through the window I am happy with it XD. I r weird.

Aww .. that sucks. My window faces the woods. So I get a nice view of trees. I can't wait for fall so I can watch the colors change.

.. you should go up to your neighbors house and paint a big yellow sun on the side of it XD.

Thats a nice thing your parents did.

I always wanted an easel but I'm waiting to move out before I get one.. since it'll get messy and I don't want my parents to whine. xD

Lol .. I think a car might be a smidge more awesome. And, thank you. It feels cool being legal now.


@ Bagel - My parents set it up in the basement just so I could get everywhere messy lol. They hung sheets on the walls and told me to go to town XD.

I remember one year my Mom got me a darking table with all kinds of paper, pens, pencils and erasers for Christmas. I hardly ever use it anymore though x_X I can't really fit it into my room since I have retarded angled ceiling though.. but I'm thinking about forcing it to fit in here somehow since I do art and photography.. I need a place to sit all my crap XD.

Yeah, I completely understand. My biggest problem is trying to find room for all my stuff. So having a section of the basement really helps.
