My school's German Club and French Club are going to go head to head at Lazer-Tag sometime either next week or the week after.
We will either be playing one of two ways depending on which place we go to.
Option 1:
The game is set up with two teams, each player is given 60 shots per life, and when they are shot, their suit turns off for about 15 seconds. Each team has a base with a target that when shot racks up points for the opposing team. The playing field is about 25yd x 25 yd
Option 2: (this place usually does free-for-all, but supposedly can be set up for teams, if you have enough people)
Granted we can do teams. It would be set up as team-death match. The place is a huge, dark 50yd x 50yd playing field, with 2 levels of catwalks, rooms, hallways, barriers, etc...
They have what are called "Gems" which count down from 10 and if not shot before 0, can disable your suit for 15 seconds. However, if you have gained a bunch of credits (kills) you can get power ups (full auto, burst, etc..) when/if you manage to shoot them before the timer runs out.
If you ever run out of ammo, you either suck horribly, or are too damn good. Personally, I like this place better, but I wish they had teams all of the time.

Meh, I don't want to be the "Club a*****e". Besides Frau Braun is too awsome for me to humiliate her like that. |

Yeah, our teacher didn't play Rammstein but she did have posters of Jim Varney and played '99 Luftballoons' a couple of times.
... she did yell at my brother during one assignment though.
The assignment was to come up with a sentence as part of a scout group asking to be their leader.
He said, "Ich will ihren fuehrer sein."
He proceeded to be yelled at because they apparently don't use the word, "Fuehrer" anymore. Even though the definition is 'leader'.
Have you seen the music video for Rosenrot?
Rather dark when you see it. |

Yeah, but it's not as dark/disturbing as most of their songs (Mein Teil?)
A friend of mine in German AP IV had to translate Dali Llama. Did I mention that she likes Rammstein? |

Yeah, she is in her early to mid twenty's. IIRC she just got out of college. It was a spin off of an old german poem where a kid here's voices, tells his dad about the voices, his dad doesn't believe him, then the kid is drugg do the barn by some force, and he dies. (that's what I remember anyways) It was called Dali Llama because the Dali Llama is afriad of flying. @ Fresnel: When she was in high school she wanted her German name to be Eva.
