The title to this gig is : B L O O D And I'm only posting this, because I know there HAS to be some fanfiction lovers out there just WAITING to read some Big Bang stories. This story is incomplete, only because I haven't found enough time between school, studies, and work to complete it. AND because I can't seem to think of the next scene without giving myself a headache. @_@;;;;
So here goes:P R O L O G U E It was a warm spring night. A woman in her mid-twenties walked skeptically through the neighborhood park. She was high from the pills exchanged between her, her friends, and strangers at the club. She could still hear the music echoing in her head, as her vision blurred, mixed, and turned everything upside down and alive. She felt nauseous, paranoid, and very light-headed. Though all she could do when a figure walked up to her was giggle like a school girl. He was watching her as soon as she left the club. He followed her, not caring if he was being heard. She was swaggering from side to side as she walked to the park: the perfect place. He checked his watch and smiled. It was approximately 4:15am. No one would be in the park this early in the morning. It was like she knew he wanted her to stop halfway in the park. She cowered over like something was after her. He smirked and casually walked up to her. He crouched to her level, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Are you okay?" She just giggled. He noticed her dark brown eyes unfocused and lust filled. He gave her a crooked smile and asked, "Is there something you want?" She ungracefully swayed as she sat and bit her finger, nodding. "You want me to give this to you?" He gave her a peck on the lips as an indication to what 'this' was. She pulled him into a kneeling position as she clung to him. He chuckled and laid her on the cool white cement, hooking her leg around him, and passionately kissed her. Next to his chest, he could feel her heart race a steady beat. His onyx eyes piqued a slight shade of red, but disappeared almost immediately. He moved his lips to the nape of her neck, kissing and licking the vulnerable spot. He could taste her through her skin, and wanted it. His eyes closed as his grip on her tightened. She gleefully wrapped her arms around him, but soon gasped and winced as he pierced four sharp canine teeth into her and drank. Her voice was lost due to her confusion and fright. He loosened his grip on her, then immediately tightened it again, as a child squeezing for the very last drop in a juice box. Abruptly, he dropped her, leaving her to die in the middle of the park. She got a glimpse of him and croaked a name before everything went black. C H A P T E R 0 1 DaeSung sighed as he put down the morning paper. "There's another 'blood loss' incident reported." "I'm telling you, it's the vampires," SeungRi chomped away at the bland cereal, determined to finish it. "You and your fantasies. Vampires aren't real. No one's ever seen them, and there has never been an incident like these for a while." He was very tempted to smack the younger one in the back of the head. SeungRi held his spoon mid-air and thought, unconsciously puckering his lips, "Maybe they were living off chicken and other animals and got tired of it." He was so close to finishing the last bite before DaeSung whacked him with the now rolled up paper in his hands. "Ah, what? It's just a thought." DaeSung shook the rolled paper in front of the other's face, "Just a thought? You need to quit thinking up these fantasies. Just because you have a fetish with biting doesn't mean the world is filled with blood suckers." "Shut up, hyung. And -you- would know if I had a fetish or not," SeungRi muttered under his breath, only to receive several accompanying whacks from the newspaper. Amongst a household of five hormone-raving, yet work determined pre-adult boys, DaeSung and SeungRi were always the ones to wake up first. 'The early bird gets the worm,' right? Well, in this case, the 'early birds' got to cook for the not-so-early ones. And that usually meant one of the two, if not both, would cook breakfast. YoungBae would also help, if he got up due to their arguing and other ruckus. And today, he did. "What the heck is all this noise? I know you two have a 'thing' for each other but jeez, people are still trying to sleep here." SeungRi and DaeSung blankly stared at YoungBae before announcing the incident in the papers. "What, again? Where this time?" He was fully out of his room and heading towards the kitchen. The two younger ones assumed the next oldest was paranoid of the tragic, and random, deaths and even asked YoungBae to admit it. It was true, but he denied all factors and coolly took in all the information. "It's at the neighborhood park where we used to walk after training practices." DaeSung explained reading the article again, just to be sure he had the right information. He paused and looked up at YoungBae and smiled, "It's okay, hyung. I mean so far, the victims have all been girls." SeungRi randomly spouted while staring at his empty bowl, "I heard girls taste better than boys do." He looked up when he realized no one was talking. They were staring at him. "Shut up. Don't give me crap just because I know some information on these things." YoungBae poked, "We didn't want to say anything before you mentioned the last comment but," he paused and sighed. "SeungRi, as much as we love you because you're the youngest in our group, and as much as it -hurts- me to say this to you, but you're a freak." "And just for that, you can make breakfast." DaeSung patted SeungRi on the back with a smile, then looked around and got up, "Ah, now where did I put that remote?" He walked out of the kitchen and into the living room. SeungRi muttered incoherently under his breath and began to take random ingredients from the fridge. YoungBae gave a small smile and looked about the house, feeling safe and comfortable until his eyes caught onto something. His eyes stared at the thing at the oldest boy's room. The door was ajar and all he could see was a face, but it was distorted. He finally realized it was upside down and smiling at him with glinting red eyes before the door slowly closed shut. He felt a deathly chill run down his spine and looked towards SeungRi, who was busy scrambling the eggs in the pan. He looked towards DaeSung, who was gleefully watching a Korean dubbed episode of Doraemon. Gulping, YoungBae hesitantly got up and walked towards SeungHyun's room. He looked down to see if anything was sticking their fingers underneath the door, but nothing showed. When he arrived at the door, he gave it a slight tap then looked around. All other doors were closed except his, where the other two slept as well. YoungBae took deep breathes, trying to calm his heart from pounding out of his chest, and said to himself before knocking more confidently, "This is way too early for nightmares." No one answered so he took the liberty to open it himself. Looking around, he saw the portrait of his hyung on the wall, then the actual hyung lying in bed, sleeping peacefully. He sighed, "Like I said, YoungBae. Too early for nightmares." He closed the door and walked towards the living room, joining DaeSung and the television. (A/N: source ... Just don't get too scared, hahaa!) Hidden behind the opened door, was the face as it continued to smile in a knowing manner. The pupils were red, hair tangled and wild, lips curled baring its chillingly shiny sharp teeth. With an evil chuckle it disappeared from the room, only to reappear in JiYong's room. It hid, watching the boy get up off the bed and stand in front of his mirror. JiYong winced as he felt a p***k on the side of his head. He's been having these headaches for the past few days and was partially getting annoyed with them. He didn't notice the face beside his bed as he busied himself getting ready to start the day. He grabbed a bath towel and headed towards the bathroom. As soon as he left the room, the face transported itself from the floor to the top of the bed. The face, not having anything solid to support it, grew into a decapitated head. Splotches of blood at the foot of the bed marked its visit as it rolled into thin air, cackling to itself maliciously. C H A P T E R 0 2 JiYong rushed into the kitchen, fishing through the cabinets for pain relieving medicine. His headache grew since the morning, when during other times, it subsided long enough for him to go back home and sleep it off. But tonight was definitely different. He thought as he continued to search, that maybe it was because he was stressing over the concert they were preparing for in six days. He winced and put pressure on his left eye, hoping it would delay a blast of throbbing aches to come. He didn't have time for this. Rehearsal wasn't even over yet, even though it was already about 3:30am. A director walked in to check on him, "Hey, JiYong. Are you okay?" He took a glance at her, attempting to smile but it came too quick. He screamed and fell to the floor. "Oh my, JiYong? JiYong!" The director frantically ran out to get help. As soon as she left, JiYong's fading vision fell upon a slim silhouette watching him from the doorway. He felt helpless and drained. Panting for more oxygen, he reached an arm for the silhouette before darkness took him. The doctors couldn't explain what happened. JiYong was perfectly healthy, minus the semi-malnourished effects from constantly working. But there was no reason for him to collapse. He didn't have any tumors, and there were no shows of any irritation in the brain. "Just have him bed-resting for the next couple days and he should be fine." One doctor was explaining to Big Bang's manager as the patient gained consciousness. "A couple days? We don't have a couple days for me to rest." He complained, slurring each word like a drunk. He frowned, not understanding how he was only given the instruction to rest a couple days. "Hyung!" SeungRi practically jumped in relief. The other members, manager, and doctor turned to him, giving him an awkwardly full attention. "Hyung, how do you feel? Are you feeling alright? You're going to survive, okay? They said you just need rest. Do you need anything from me? From us? Tell me if you need an-" "I'm fine, SeungRi." JiYong cut him off, chuckling to himself. "God, if anyone else besides us saw you like this. I swear they'd probably think we're married. Did you miss me that much, baby boo?" JiYong teased, who received a pout, then an almost laying-on-top hug from the youngest. The doctor smiled seeing how everything was alright and spoke with the manager about JiYong's leave tomorrow afternoon. "Doctor," JiYong called before the medic left. "Who's my nurse for the night?" "Oh, I completely forgot." He motioned for someone to walk in. "This will be your care-taker for the night: Suh MaByn. She'll be checking on you while you sleep so don't lash out if you feel someone groping you." He mischievously grinned while explaining through clenched teeth. "She's an intern so please, be kind to her and let her know if she's doing something wrong. Now, if you'll excuse me. I've got a surgery to attend to." The nurse stayed behind and greeted the manager. The group members couldn't take their eyes off of her. Finally, SeungHyun turned to JiYong and whispered, "You're one lucky homo. She's hott." JiYong chuckled then shooed everyone out of the room so he could sleep. MaByn stayed behind again, waving at everyone leaving with a pleasant smile on her face. "Hey, um... Sorry, I'm not that great with names." JiYong smiled sheepishly. "Hm? Quite alright. It's MaByn. Suh MaByn. Was there something you need?" She was a bit too pleasant for an intern, it gave JiYong the chills. "Um, yeah. I was actually curious of," he paused, trying to find the right words. "Of what I was... diagnosed? with?" "So far, the doctor's only mentioned you overworking yourself. He hasn't mentioned anything else." She tilted her head. "Curious about something, I see." "Yeah, actually. I had this really bad headache for the past week or so, but earlier today, it just didn't go away. It was worse, actually. That's why I collapsed." "Hm, does it only happen at night?" She asked interrogatively. JiYong shook his head. "It usually starts in the morning when I get up, but most times, it disappears. Then usually reappears just before I go to bed." MaByn stared at him. Her eyes studied him from head to toe before she pursed her lips into an approved grin. "You don't know what you are, do you Kwon JiYong." It wasn't a question. And JiYong only looked at her confused. She sighed then walked up next to the bed. "Never mind. Doctor Joo IDe wanted me to give this to you before you slept. It'll make you feel a tad better." She pulled out a syringe and bottle from her pocket. JiYong stared at the content of the bottle and frowned. "What is that?" "Ambien. Mixed with something tasty." JiYong didn't like where this was going, but couldn't think twice when MaByn flicked his head to the side, exposing his neck and injected the substance into him. His eyes lolled to the back of his head as he savored the sweet and warm feeling traveling through his body. She smiled. "I told you it would taste good." JiYong tried to turn his head and ask what the sweet nectar was but his eyes started getting heavy. "Get some sleep, JiYong. You're gonna need it." The next morning, JiYong noticed another nurse who had come to check up on him. She was plump and feeble, quite opposite of the nurse he had before he fell into deep slumber. "Oh, you're awake. Well, it's nice to meet you. The nurse last night told me to give these to you. She must have really liked you." The nurse cackled as she handed him a bag of red candy and a note. It read: JiYong, You didn't wake up before I could leave so I've left them in Agnes's care. These candies? It's not because I like you. Don't be conceited. Whenever you feel those headache's coming, pop one of these in your mouth. They taste similar to that medicine I gave you. Except no ambien so no worries. You're not going to fall asleep. Take care, I'll see you before you run out. Work hard on the concert and do a good job, okay? MaByn. JiYong blinked and read the note again. "I'll see you before you run out?" He looked up confused, then back down at the note. "Well, she does have pretty handwriting," he mumbled and paused. "And it would be nice to see her again." Someone giggled, catching the boy's attention. Hook, line, and sinker. He couldn't take his eyes off of the doctor standing in front of him. She had unnaturally silver platinum hair, and piercing red eyes. She was lean, but not entirely muscular. And her name tag read "Valarie." "Well, I can see I'm still an eye candy for you young ones." She smirked, then walked next to his bed introducing herself, "My name's Valarie Lee and I work in the financial department of this hospital. I came to discuss a few matters with you concerning the information we have in file so far." "Was there a problem?" JiYong couldn't take his eyes off of hers. They were just too unique for him to believe. "No, I just came to verify so there -would- be no problems." She stared right back at him. "Yes, they're real. I don't wear contacts. And why they're red, I don't know. I was born with them." JiYong replied with a goofy chuckle, slightly embarrassed he was caught. They went through the record and verified most of the information. Before she was about to leave, she turned at the door and reminded JiYong, "Oh, and do take that note from MaByn seriously. If you don't take those candies something bad might happen and either you, or someone else, could get hurt. Badly." He was surprised she knew MaByn, but before he could peep a question she was gone. And almost immediately, his manager and the band members came rushing in, bombarding him with question about Valarie and MaByn, rather than asking about his health. JiYong stuck his bottom lip out and pouted. "What?" They just said in unison. So that's that for the first few chapters. Let me know what you think. :]

And here's the second ... irr, chapters 3-5 of Blood. I'll probably post another story up too. But we'll see about that one. :]
C H A P T E R 0 3
The concert was over. Everyone was at rest due to JiYong's sudden incidents during the rehearsals. The first one where he was sent to the hospital was the start of things. Events after that only were temporarily cured with those bright red candies. He had to take one every three or four hours to keep him from going crazy. During the concert nights, he'd gobble a handful so he could last for the most of the night. Towards the end, he'd end up with one in his mouth. The fans would curiously look at him and ask for one but when he said it was medicine, not candy, they insulted him. During one point for each of the three concert nights they had in a row, he'd pop one out of his mouth and let one of the fans taste it. They would then realize that it was, indeed, medicine after they witness the taster cringe and motion vomiting positions. YoungBae would shake his head at the fans, then remind them, "We'll never lie to you guys. You're our girlfriends and we don't like to deceive the ones we love," which caused everyone to scream and shout with love and trust. It got kudos points to Big Bang from their V.I.P.
JiYong looked at the remaining red orbs in the plastic bag, he had about twenty left. He never realized he would eat so many of them in only two weeks. They were tasty, like candy to him, but if he ran out, he didn't know what to do. He focused his attention on the note from MaByn sitting comfortably on top of the orbs, inside the bag. He thought to himself, 'You said you'd be here before I run out.' JiYong sighed, "When is that going to be, Suh MaByn?"
"Wasn't that the nurse's name?" YoungBae recollected. JiYong didn't even realize him enter the living room, but nodded. "She was something. And that Valarie lady too." He had a smug grin on his face, but one glance at the group leader and it disappeared. "What's up, man?"
"She said she'd be here before I run out," JiYong explained calmly. "I have less than twenty left. And if she doesn't keep the promise, I don't know what I'm going to do. What if I can't control this crazy, berserk side of me?"
"Why not call the doctor's office then? I'm sure it's written somewhere on your discharge papers," YoungBae noted.
JiYong sighed, "Already tried that. And I called the office for her but they said she doesn't work there any more. Don't even have any contact information of her."
"That's strange," DaeSung exclaimed as he walked past JiYong's room, towards the living room. The two older ones averted their attention to him with curiosity written all over their face. "There's someone in your room, hyung. Did you even let any one in? I never heard the door ring." He paused in fright after looking at YoungBae and JiYong's reaction. "Okay, I'm scared," he squeaked and hurried towards SeungRi's room to hide. JiYong cautiously got up and headed towards his room. Peeking in, he motioned YoungBae to join the others and call SeungHyun with an update.
"Come on in, JiYong," the figure spoke. Her voice was soothing and melodic. "And do close the door behind you so no one intrudes." He did as he was told, warily.
"W-who," JiYong stuttered but couldn't finish. He took the liberty to busy himself calming his speeding heart. A hand gently laid onto his shoulder, causing JiYong to jump before turning to realize it was MaByn. She gently smiled and nodded once, letting him know nothing harmful would happen. Just seeing her made his heart calm down a notch. He turned back to the figure, who's back was still facing him, and took a deep breathe. "Who are you and what do you want from me?" He didn't mean to be rude, but it was his territory. She, particularly, was invading it. MaByn let out a soft chuckle from behind him.
The cloaked woman in front of him turned, revealing a stunning beauty. "My name is PadMa. Lim PadMa," she started. "And I'm here to inform you of your current change in lifestyle."
"Change in lifestyle? I don't understand." He looked back at MaByn, then again at PadMa.
"You mean you don't know why your behavior's changed dramatically? Nor the reason why no one but yourself think those red candies taste sweet like honey? And why every now and then, when you stare at yourself in the mirror, you're pupils pique red?"
"You were watching me?"
"MaByn has. In concerns of your health and," PadMa paused before continuing, "in case you lost your mind and became one of them."
"One of who?" He had turned to stare at MaByn, wondering why he was never able to spot her when he felt eyes watching him during rehearsals. He didn't turn around to face PadMa when he asked.
"The other breed of our kind: the lowest of all in the name of Lucifel."
"And what exactly is your 'kind'?" JiYong turned to face her this time, "I was never informed."
"We figured it would have been better to tell you after, rather than before the concert. Less stress on you, my dear." MaByn stated with concern.
PadMa lifted her chin, proud. "You are a vampire. A royal breed of aristocrats in the core kingdom."
"Ha! How can I be a vampire if I could stay in sunlight? I thought vampires burnt to ashes." He smirked in disbelief.
"Only the other breed. You're lucky to either be brought up or be born the race of the aristocrats. If the other way around, you'd still be out in the streets at night, killing and drinking mercilessly." JiYong turned white. "Yes, that was you. And yes, we've watched you hunt. Quite impressed, actually."
JiYong glared at the two women, "Why didn't you stop me?" He was fuming with guilt for the innocent women he killed. "Why didn't either one of you stop me?"
Another figure, skin pale as snow, wrapped their arms around JiYong from behind, "A vampire's got to drink to survive." The feminine voice sounded very familiar. He cringed and mumbled a name. "I'm surprised you remembered me after such a short encounter." She leaned to a side, letting him see her.
He said her name more clearly, "Valarie." She smiled. "You're one of them too." He wasn't asking.
Valarie merely nodded, "And you're also one of them." She smiled sweetly and wrapped her arms around him again, making herself comfortable.
He looked around the room. And for a newcomer to all this, he felt comfortable. But there was one question that had been struggling to be voiced: "So, what happens now?" The ladies smirked with a knowing gleam in their eyes, but none of them spoke.
"You meet with the queen." The decapitated head was back, grinning from ear to ear.
C H A P T E R 0 4
"Why did you drag us with you?" SeungHyun hissed at JiYong. "This is more creepy than those movies. And there's nothing here but books." They were in a large library, waiting for something to happen.
"Hey, check this out. They have Doraemon comic books." DaeSung flipped through one of them, then started reading them. SeungRi quirked a brow and stretched his neck to look over the older one's shoulder. The book was in Korean. "I'm in love with these people. They have the limited edition Korean version. All of them!" JiYong and YoungBae rolled their eyes and smiled.
The heavy oak doors, marking the entrance swung open with some force and a little girl walked in. She was accompanied by MaByn, Valarie, PadMa, and several other women behind them. The little girl looked no more than ten years of age. Her hair was dressed up in a fancy bun, her dress was a shade of pale blue that came down to her knees. Her eyes pierced icy blue as she glanced at each of the boys before resting her gaze on SeungRi. She smiled and hopped over to him, giggling. "Sir, you smell good." SeungRi eyed her warily, but managed a smile for her cute attitude.
"Aadi, he's not our meal." Valarie soothingly, yet firmly, told the girl. Aadi furrowed her brow and pouted at Valarie, mentally asking who was. "The gentleman over there, my dear." She pointed at JiYong, who was now cowering behind SeungHyun.
Aadi giggled, "No sir, we're not really going to eat you." The boys looked at her, all of them worried except JiYong. He was just curious. None of the other members knew what was going on. Back at home, JiYong sprinted into SeungRi's room and dragged all of them out, practically demanding them to join him. He even dragged SeungHyun, who had just got home from recording 'I Am Sam'. When they asked out of curiosity and fright, he plainly mentioned it would be explained to them later. He had yet explained it to them, afraid the group might split. "Sir Kwon?" JiYong was in his own world when he realized Aadi was calling him. She smiled sincerely and stretched out her little arm, "Would you please join me to meet mother." She wasn't asking. It was something he had to do. He took the guiding hand and followed obediently, leaving the remaining four members with the women.
As soon as the doors closed, DaeSung started freaking out. "How can he leave us? What the heck is that?" He frantically pointed to the decapitated head staring at him from the floor. The head, amused, grinned wide and chomped its jaws. Which only caused the boy to wail and climb onto a chair next to SeungRi, who had turned pale. SeungHyun also turned pale, but watching the women in the room, decided to calm down. "What's going to happen to us?" DaeSung cried in fear. "I'm still too young to die. I only -just- turned twenty. I still have to get married and have some babies. My lifeline will -not- end with me." The head cackled and rolled away, pleased with its prank. The women did their best not to laugh too hard.
YoungBae studied the group of women. Then it clicked, "Aren't two of you from the hospital?" SeungRi, DaeSung, and SeungHyun looked at YoungBae, then back at the group. Their mouths dropped in recognition. "Valarie and MaByn, right?"
Valarie quirked a brow, "I don't believe we've met, but yes, that is I."
"We saw you exit out of JiYong's room before his discharge."
"Oh. Well, I'm glad to finally meet the rest of Big Bang." She smiled genuinely.
"There was actually another, but she never saw any of you face to face." MaByn moved to the side and introduced a woman with sea-green eyes. "This is Doctor Joo IDe. She was the one who prescribed those candies for JiYong."
"You call that candy? Those things were nasty." SeungRi cringed as he remembered the first time he tried the red orbs.
The ladies chuckled. IDe explained, "Yes, to normal humans they are nasty. But for us, they taste quite much like honey."
"Normal humans? Us? Honey?" SeungHyun scrunched his face, trying to put things together. "JiYong said they tasted like honey, or something sweet. So," he paused. "He's not human?"
"Well, he's still human. Just with special exceptions." Valarie noted. "He's an elite aristocratic breed of vampires." She paused, waiting for them to take in the news slowly and react, but continued when even the crickets outside could be heard singing with the wind, "He won't be massively killing anything that breaths once this procedure is done. He'll be very much like a human. He'll still be able to travel around the sun. It won't affect him. Nor will crosses, stakes, or holy water. Those only affect the lower breeds."
"He'll still be killing." SeungRi raised his voice. "He's the one who attacked those innocent girls at night, isn't he?"
"Yes, and he feels quite guilty about it. He didn't know it was him. So please, do understand his previous behavior. It won't happen again."
YoungBae tilted his head a bit, "What do you mean it 'won't happen again'? He's a vampire. He drinks blood. So he has to kill people to survive, right?"
MaByn nodded, "Right. But vampire blood lasts longer until hunger kicks in again. So in other words, as an elite - or aristocrat - you're also known as a vampire hunter."
SeungHyun pouted and folded his arms. "You mentioned a procedure. What is it and how long is it going to take?"
IDe thought. "We haven't seen it done for a long time. Almost a century has gone by since we last used it. But let's see. He's probably going through the drowning phase, which is where his blood is drained completely into a container. Then his vampire side should kick in, baring his teeth. He'll be given another vampire from the other breed as a sacrifice, which should bring him -back- to life. Then the blood first drained will be deposited back into him to complete his true form. It'll probably take approximately a night to finish the job." In the distance, they heard a blood curdling scream, worrying the Big Bang members. IDe checked her watch. "Yup, this should be about when he's given the sacrifice."
C H A P T E R 0 5
That night, the women escorted each of the four Big Bang members to their rooms. SeungRi and DaeSung snuck out of their room in the middle of the night, scared for their life since the rooms were about the size of their entire apartment, and climbed into each of the older ones' bed. SeungRi slept with YoungBae and DaeSung slept with SeungHyun. Their wake up call was JiYong yanking their soft warm blankets off them. "Aish, hyung. You never wake up early. Let us sleep a bit more. It's our break, anyway." SeungRi pouted as he curled himself into a ball. JiYong paused with an amused smirk on his face and mentally counted down from three. Right at one, SeungRi shot out of bed and tackled JiYong to the ground, "You're alive!" YoungBae peeked at the scene, still drowsy, then perked up just as JiYong petted the youngest on the head. He told them to dress and went to DaeSung and SeungHyun's room. He received a similar reaction from them. Only SeungHyun was the one who tackled and DaeSung was screaming with joy.
JiYong looked like he had never gone through hell and back. At the breakfast table, he ate the same food as they did, walked in and out of the sunlight like a normal human being would, and even acted the way he usually did. YoungBae kept taking glances at him, curious and bit afraid. "There's nothing to worry about, man." JiYong said when he caught onto the other's fear. The only difference about JiYong were his eyes. They were crimson red. "I'm still the same Kwon JiYong as you knew me before I turned. I feel really relieved, actually," he continued to explain. "I won't be getting any more headaches, nor will I go berserk like at the rehearsals."
"Did it hurt?" YoungBae had to ask.
"What?"
"The procedure."
"Oh, yeah. It hurt," JiYong got the attention of everyone at the table. "The needles, I mean. But luckily, being a vampire also means you heal faster. So obviously, you can't see any marks on me. I'm flawless now. I could scrape my knee and the next second, it'll only be a smudge of dried blood. I tried it last night." He smiled. He paused and his smile grew bigger. "Did you know, elites are the only ones that can actually mate? Wow, I'm so happy I can still do it and have kids." SeungHyun sputtered with food in his mouth. "Ew, hyung. That's nasty. Clean it up."
"You're the one who made me do this," SeungHyun retorted. "I blame you, damnit." JiYong responded with the act of innocence and obliviousness.
"By the way, where are the," DaeSung paused, looking for the right words to describe them.
"VIP?" JiYong finished.
DaeSung blinked, "Our fans?"
"No, they're called 'VIP'. They've been called that for centuries. A little over a millennium, actually." JiYong set down his utensils as a scrawny gremlin strolled by. He made eye contact with it and smiled. The gremlin dashed over, took the leftover food, and hurried out of the room. "They're in the sitting room, making something. I think clothes."
YoungBae's eyes had followed the gremlin's movement and dazed at the entrance where it disappeared. "You're nice. And VIP makes their own clothes?" He snapped back to reality when JiYong rested his elbows on the table.
"Yeah, but I don't think they're making their own today. They've been working at the style all night. And, yeah I took a peek before I was shooed out by Valarie. They were men's clothing." Just then, PadMa joyfully pranced into the room, motioning the boys to follow her to the sitting room. The outfit she wore reminded SeungRi of Yuna from Final Fantasy X-2. Minus the hair and lack of the half dress and microphone, it was very similar to Yuna's Songstress outfit. JiYong followed behind the others, keeping a watchful eye on PadMa as they headed to another room.
All of the curtains were drawn and there were pieces of cloth, of various colors, everywhere on the floor. "Tada!" PadMa gestured to five mannequins at the center of the room, proudly dressed with formal, yet casual wear. Big Bang stared in awe, approving of the style. It wasn't very long until the gremlins that were sitting round bounced towards them, pulling at their clothes. The four warily followed, unsure of what was going on. JiYong, on the other hand, rested his arms around PadMa's waist, ignoring the little creatures. They gave up and started helping the others tailor the four boys. "Is there something you'd like to speak with me about, JiYong?"
"What's your real name, Pad?"
She raised a brow at the nickname. "And how would you know PadMa isn't my read name?"
"Because I feel like I've seen you in my grandparents' old photo album before. And they called you a different name."
The resting hand started stroking her bare waist. She held it to a halt, peering into his crimson eyes. "Are you interested in me, love?" He smiled and was about to respond when SeungRi threw a cushion at his head.
"Stop being mushy and try on these clothes. They're awesome!" JiYong rolled his eyes then glared at the younger one. Muttering under his breathe about how unfair the other members were being, he obediently walked towards the remaining mannequin and quietly had them fitted.
"Phew, that was a close one." MaByn whispered as she came up behind PadMa. "Who would have thought the great JiYong would return to his throne, and still have feelings for his beloved." She smirked. PadMa stared at her, unwilling to speak. "Be careful, PadMa. The only reason why we changed our names was because his grandfather requested us not to return to his heir's life as anything more than a guardian. Even the queen knows of this."
"Yes, she knew of the risk and still took it." PadMa turned her attention back at the grinning boys. "Because she genuinely loved the King."

C H A P T E R 0 6
"Whoa, what happened here?" SeungHyun bellowed. They had just arrived home after a lively afternoon with the women at the mansion. The apartment was rearranged disastrously. From a zoologist's point of view, it would have looked as though a stampede crossed through. Dried blood dashed and spotted almost every corner of the living room, while doors dangled on their hinges. There were many claw marks on the walls, like an insane patient attempting to find a way out of their isolated cubicle. They searched around the entire apartment, but found nothing important missing. JiYong frowned as he looked around the living room, delicately lifting away rubbish. "What? Something missing?" SeungHyun eyed the younger one as he came back from washing his hands from the kitchen.
"The candies are missing." JiYong calmly proclaimed.
"Isn't that a good thing."
"MaByn's note was inside it."
"So?"
JiYong paused, calculating the damage. "I have an idea who did this. I'm calling PadMa."
YoungBae quirked a brow, "Why are they involved? It's not like their people did it. Everyone knows you're back in their world. No one would harm you."
"No," JiYong agreed with that. "No, they wouldn't. But like you said, 'everyone' knows. Meaning the lowlife excuse of a vampire would know just as well."
SeungRi whimpered in panic. He had opened his room, just in time to see a roasting creature crawl in through the window. But the boy wasn't quiet enough. The creature's bloodshot eyes locked onto SeungRi and bared its teeth. He jumped the length towards SeungRi with untimely speed, but someone was faster. Fierce red orbs met bloodshot ones as the youngest member was knocked out of the way.
JiYong pinned the rival against the wall, bending the arms around its back. "Who sent you?" He hissed. In the corner of his eyes, he saw SeungRi scramble to his feet and run into DaeSung, who held him protectively. The helpless creature squawked. "You're so far in you can't even speak, can you?" He smirked as the lowlife struggled under his arms, then it stopped.
Under JiYong's narrowed eyes, the creature chuckled and spoke. Its voice was mixed with a deep gurgle, but it definitely a woman's. "The king's heir is back. The whole world of vampires, goblins, and ghouls know. But I will defeat you like I did the king." The skin began to bubble and it screeched in agony.
"I ask again. Who sent you?"
"My name is Ragnhild. Yoo Ragnhild. Remember it well, my 'prince'." And with that, the creature exploded into sand. The human members relaxed a little as they stared at the pile at JiYong's feet. After a couple seconds, JiYong bent down and fished through the sand, picking a thin metallic needle with a Celtic crucifix at one end.
"He wouldn't have tasted any good, any way. So, thank you." JiYong quietly spoke to no one in particular. He walked away from the sand and towards SeungRi. "You okay? He didn't touch you, did he?" He reached out and tilted SeungRi's head from side to side, checking for marks. His hands moved down towards the chest and undid the top button of the shirt. No marks. SeungRi resisted to protest, but let out a breathe he had unconsciously been holding when the older one turned around. JiYong looked around the apartment again, then flipped out his phone. He dialed in a number and pressed 'send'. "Manager hyung? Um, yeah. There's a bit of a problem," JiYong started.
