Hurricane Ike hits Kentucky

I never thought I'd see a hurricane do this much damage this far inland. Ike blew through Louisville, Kentucky on Sunday afternoon and stripped siding and shingles from the neighborhood houses as well as splitting trees. There are still hundreds thousands of homes without power and schools are closed all week.

So far in the last year Louisville has had a tornado, earthquake and now a hurricane. What's next? Meteor strike? eek

Lol. Wouldn't a meteor strike be extremely devastating? I don't know. I was watching some History Channel show about "What if a meteor struck Earth?". razz

Last Augustwe also had major flooding here in Louisville.
